For doing Masters Degree in Australia you need to have good bachelorís degree, after completing your B Tech you can apply for your Masters Degree. First step in getting admission in any Universities in Australia you need to clear IELTS exam and have to score less than 7 out of 10.

The top engineering colleges providing MS in Australia are:

     Avondale College
     Charles Sturt University
     Macquarie University
 The University of New England
 The University of New South Wales
     The University of Newcastle
     Southern Cross University
     The University of Sydney
     University of Technology, Sydney
     University of Western Sydney
     University of Wollongong

One more thing you need to keep in mind is that, while you search for Universities, before you apply, make sure that your Bachelorís degree is recognized by the University you apply for.

Re: MS from Australia after B.Tech. from India?

Pursuing a course from Australia is gaining importance. There are many colleges offering good courses in the technology area. Many of these feature in the top 100 rank list in the world. However there is fear in the mind due to the attack on many Indians. Even though investigations have revealed that many of the attacks were not racial attacks, but still there is a feeling of insecurity in mind of many Indians.
For admission in a good institute abroad one needs to have good academic record. But prior to applying for any course one needs to decide the area of specialization. You must select the subjects based on your interest. The choice of specialization lies on what you would like to study.
Based on the area you need to check which all institutes offer the course. For admission to most colleges you need to clear the IELTs exam . Your IELTS score needs to be anywhere between 7 to 10 in a scale of 10. With this score you need to apply to the institutes. After securing one needs to go for the visa application.

Yes it will be a good option for you .
You can just fill the forms for different universities for private study.
But if you have a good talent and has special knowledge for any subject then apply for the written test conducted by the indian government and then they will give you the scholarship for MS in australia.
