If you are an engineer, your grade points of B.Tech should be at least 6.5(overall). For students of General stream there is no such bar.you have to get qualified by passing the aptitude tests conducted by the companies first.then there is a group discussion round among the passed candidates.after that interview of the selected candidates are taken. you must have a thorough conception of C++, JAVA, .NET . You must have superb communication skills and you should excel in team works. You must be available to work anywhere in India(if not they will not give you the job)

The eligibility criteria for the companies in IT domain varies from company to company. But normally a 60% throughout from matriculation to Graduation is required.
If you aren't getting campus placements on BSc or IT basis , you should opt for masters degree like MSc. IT or MCA from a better college and work hard.

you dont have to get 80% or 90% to get job in a nice company but remember that all the multi national companies are asking just 60% as cutoff.
you must have good communication skills and practical knowledge to get good job and plum salary.

You have low percentage in 10th and 12th but you have done very well in your graduation and post graduation.
Many IT companies have their minimum criteria like 60% overall or 65% overall but this criteria is differ from company to company.
May be Your marks in higher education can make an attraction towards companies but the chance is very rare.
You must have knowledge of some of the following languages :

>ORACLE
