The specialization choice purely depends purely on what you like to do and pursue as a career. As you haven’t given any details on your background in education or anything about your personal interests, it is difficult to advise you to suggest which area you need to go. But I can tell you something in general, if you are interested in the Banking and Finance it will be a good option to choose FINANACE. You can also get into the MARKETING and sales if you go in for MARKETING specialization. If you are interested in system design and IT consulting, you can choose MBA (Systems) as a specialization. HR is good if you like to manage workers. The standard specializations for MBA are: Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, IT/Systems, Operations, and General Management, but we see a lot of other management areas emerging like Corporate Social Responsibility, telecom management, hotel management, aviation etc

Tough to answer based on very little information about yourself or your education background. Still it looks like you have an inclination towards academic/research line rather than a corporate profile. Now each of the management areas like HR, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Systems - most of them have a theoretical and practical side, that is the whole essence of management. Sot the specialisation needs to be chose based on your skills and interest area. For example if you are good in numbers and like to do analysis, then Finance could be a good option. If you like to meet people, convince them on doing something, you can make easily followers, etc then sales and marketing is a good area to do MBA. If you know how to motivate others, how to listen and talk to others, sensitive to other's problems etc then HR is an option. Systems and operations can help you take up jobs in areas like IT, manufacturing sector etc. Now Marketing and Finance are two areas where lot of research scope is there. Market research is a good area for you, similarly financial market research or financial analysis - all these are areas with good scope and potential for you to explore. Hence suggest to listen to your heart, assess your skills and then choose the specialisation accordingly.

iam a pastor studied theoilogy in first degree, leadership in second degree, and leadership in Doctorate as well. please tell me which Area of Mba will be good for me i interact with people on daily basis as a pastor. and i also want to know how do mange the church very well .because we are only taught theology in school no management.

Hv been really confused about which would be the best wway to do my MBA. I hav couple of Questions.Before i proceed would like to giv info about profile. Iam profile.I am from had to move to chennai in 2004. Have done Buisness in Hotel management ie BSc in Hotel management from IHM, Chennai.Decied to stay back in Chennai as was enjoyin freedom away from Family. During my college days was elected a sthe General secreatary, Vice president and President consecutively so good at leadership. Worked for McD for 2 mths with Mcd and switched to BPO industry. Worked for 2 yrs with Dell tech support. Became solid technically as use to explore lot online different tech quesries of cosumers even though not within my support just to quench my eager to learn more thirst. Then dell Launched upselling. Nd i was consistent top seller. Then Moved into VOIP service vonage also BPO and wasperforming well there as well. Recently got interested into work-study proram in USA. So came back to my home town so can save some money for my fees and stuff. So moved into collection Process as heard u can earn unlimited incentives. HV been workin for past 2 mths with Zenta pvt LTD for process called Asset Acceptance, 3rd party collections...

My concern is...??
1.
Whether i shud i enroll into a Work and study programs. If so the degree is recognised as a full time MBA or not. I mean Job prospects are better or not...???

2.
Am ready to work hard. I am interested in Finance hv heard i can earn good money, Marketing bcuz almost everyone suggest that, HR bcuz i think i can handle people well and systems bcuz hv interest in tech stuff but do nothv a tech degree to back me up so kinda confused...

And my real concern is...
I wanna earn good money at the same time understandin my profile i need the experienced folks out here to help me decide which wud b the best 4 me to get into...Hope to hear sson...

according to me doing MBA IN marketing is the best

one has to choose one's MBA specialization in one's second year, so one gets enough time to get the gist of all the specializations which really helps a student to comfortably choose one's field if study. basically there are three to four core specializations offered by most of the b-schools. these are Marketing, Finance, Human resource, and Operations / IT. if one has interest in sales and distribution, marketing stands apt for him/her.
one can go for finance if banking, insurance, accountancy appeals to him/her most.
if one can handle multiple responsibilities at a time as an HR manager does like recruiting employees, solving labor disputes, managing training programs, maintaining labor union,etc. then one can opt for HR. or else one can take up Operations or IT depending upon one's core field of study.

Dear you yourself saying that you like Human Resources, Marketing etc. then what to think about.
Why din't you opt for same.

Human Resources: Every Company weather small or big has Human Resources department headed by Administrator. Today Human Resources is not just limited to taking care of Employees, Recruiting, Interviewing, Assigning task etc. all are Human Resources job. A MBA in HR will lead you a better and successful career in this department. Starting as HR Executive you can lead futher for HR manager, HR Admin etc.

Marketing: The most essential for any kind of business and company. You have a product 'X' but who knows that a 'X' brand has 'X' product until marketing for same will be done. Also MArketing is the department of any business that suites graduate from any background and also fits to anyone weather engineer or commerce.

Supply Chain: Supply chain managment was never been so lucaretive and demanding one. Generally opted by Engineers or person whose work is Factory, Industry, Manufacturing etc. based.

ALL BRANCHES have there own value and each branch is good . all you have to do is what your interest say like in HR you have to handle the organization query ad to handle the person with all your communication skill amd in markeeting you will have to travel and meet new person each day so in my view in term of growth and money marketing is an good branch to be taken
