Mathematics is not optional subject, it is a compulsory subject
12th commerce course will have the following subjects
1. Mathematics
2. commerce
3. economics

After this course you can be eligible for entrance exams like ca, icwa, cs courses
all the best..................

mathemaics is otinal in the comerce but you better to ahave that subject because for best finish of cource .
candidates will not be allowed to affer the following combinations of subjects with maths:

a) political science& international relations and public administration
b)commerce accontabulity&management
c)anthropology&socialogy
d)mathematics and statistics
e)agriculture and animal husbandry&veterianary science
f)management and public administration
etc.............

In commerce streams MATHS is not a comupulsary subjects,because it is an optional subjects,

Some of the other subjects in 11th and 12th std in commerce streams are as below-->>

MATHS
ECONOMICS
COMPUTER EDUCATION
PAINTING
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
CIVICS
HINDI
and SOME OTHER ARE ALSO THERE,

The compulsary subjects are-->>

ACCOUNTS
ENGLISH
BUSSINESS STUDIES

Hello dear,

Maths is not optional subjects in commerce in 11th and 12th.BUt there are some subject that are optional like as:-

->Economic

->Environmement study

->computer

You can choose any one subject according to your choice.

Thus maths is not there bur statics are in compulsory that is higher level maths.

Hey friend,

You can do your Commerce stream along with subjects such as Business Mathematics or Computer Science.

So,it is not that Mathematics is a Compulsory subject to be chosen for doing in Commerce Stream.

NOW MY SSC RESULT DECLARED AND I GOT 54 PERCENTAGE OF MARK I AM INTERESTED IN COMMERCE PLEASE HELP ME AND WHICH SUBJECTS I WANT TO TAKE IN 11 TH COM.MY MATH IS NOT SO GOOD.
