    Maharashtra Common Entrance Exam (MHT CET)

    Maharashtra Government conducts the MHT CET Exam for the selection of eligible candidates for the various programs in Engineering, Medical Sciences and Pharmacy. Aspirants who clear the test can seek out for medical or engineering admissions in any of the engineering or medical colleges that come under the Maharashtra Government. The test is held annually mostly in the month of April / May.

    Structure and Pattern of the MHT CET Exam

    It will be an objective type test that comprises of questions on eligibility exam curriculum. The questions will be on the technical subjects like Science and Mathematics. The test will be in English, Urdu or Marathi for science subjects. However, Maths questions will be on English only. The duration of the test will be 150 minutes. Aspirants have to attend the test in OMR sheet using black or blue ball point pen and HB pencil.

    Qualification Criteria for the MHT CET Exam

    Aspirants are supposed to have completed the XII course in science streams with an aggregate of 50% marks. Those who applying for engineering course must have studied Maths as a subject in the eligibility course. However, it is Biology in order to apply for medical courses. Applicants should have done the qualifying course from a certified Board.

    Application Procedure of the MHT CET Exam

    Forms for the entrance test are issued in Directorate of Medical Education and Research and in Directorate of Technical Education. Applicants can obtain the forms from any of the mentioned divisional authority office. Filled in forms are required to be send to the DTE office prior to the last date. Aspirants are required to enclose their attested certificate copies along with the forms and affix recent photographs in the appropriate columns of the forms.

    I am doing ib cambridge (10 2) course from oberoi international school, am I eligible for cet exam for civil engineering

    my daugher studied till X th standard in Gujarat CBSE scheme. Now shifting to Maharasta for standard X1 & further for class XII also.

    Weather she can eligable for getting engineering admission after her 12 th standard.
