Yes M tech is best choice after completing Btech in ECE...
Only Btech is not enough for settling with bright future in your carrier....it will enhance your future.....
If you prefer MS then M tech it will be bright....
there are many universities in foreign so it is better if you prefer MS....
THERE ARE MANY COMPANIES FOR AN ECE STUDENT FOR GETTING JOBS YOU CAN GO BOTH SOFTWARE SIDE AND ALSO TO THE YOUR CORE COMPANIES....
So better complete your MS then M tech.....

Yes, Ofcourse its always good to have a higher studies as M.tech(Master of Technology).. Because it obviously enhances your job chances and also your salary rates..

If You have completed your B.Tech in ECE(Electronics Communications Engineering) with a good percentage(Above 70%) then you have the chances of getting more job calls from various Core companies like;
-CISCO
-BHEL
-ECIL
-HAL etc..
Even the Software companies like Infosis, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant etc are also recruiting the Students from ECE branch...

So, If you got a chance in any of the good companies after your B.tech then go for the job...
Because you can earn Work experience as well as a good technical skills.

But, if you are not interested in doing job even after getting a job after your B.tech then Try to focus on the GATE.
If you can get a good rank then you will be placed in top colleges or IIT's ...

GATE Stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering which is conducted by IIT Delhi this Year i.e 2012.

# GATE scores are valid for 2 years and so will hold by the time you pass out from your engineering degree.

# The application fee is Rs. 1000/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/PD candidates.

# Candidates have to apply only through ONLINE.

# Application forms are going to be available from 12th sept'2011.

# GATE papers are fully objective type.
# GATE consists of 65 questions with negative marking and you will be having 3hrs.duration.
# GATE is for 100marks.

Certainly M.Tech is a good choice. It will be useful if you wish to make a career in the technical area. It is especially good for those who have interest in research field. You will also have options to enter the teaching field or join at the project lead post in organisations. You should certainly appear for entrance exams like GATE, entrance exams conducted by Anna University, Birla Institute etc. You need to ensure that you study in a recognised institute. Also do try to join any of the top institutes to have better career prospects.

hello friend MTECh will surely help you to get more knowledge about the subject , so its an good option for you to go ahead,.It also helps to get higher job profile and with good salary.

for going to the mtech you need to write the GATE exam its an all india level conducted by the MHRD, to get into top colleges of the india ;like the IITs/IISC/NITs.

To make into top colleges like the IITs you need to get a minimum percentage of 96 , NITs 85,IISC 99 perecntile.

you will also get an stipend of nearly 15000 every month, with maximum placements.Its a goood course of two years surely help you to reach higher heights in your career.
