Re: M.Tech in Computer Science after B.Sc in Biotechnology

It is good to take up a Master course in the stream you are working in. It will be an added advantage. The general rule is that B.Sc is not considered equivalent to a B.Tech Degree. So in case a candidate wants to pursue an M.Tech then he needs to first complete his M.Sc. Only thereafter will he be eligible to pursue an M.Tech course. Also the diploma course that you are pursuing is not considered equivalent to the M.Sc course. So you need to first complete M.Sc. Also it depends on whether Maths was one of the subjects pursued by you during 12th standard. There are institutes like IGNOU, Bhoj Open Univeristy, Burdwan University which offer correspondence course. You can also check with the university near you for details.

Re: M.Tech in Computer Science after B.Sc in Biotechnology

It is good to see your interest towards pursuing higher degree. If you are planning to join M.Tech then with your qualification you may not be able to apply. As to join M.Tech you need to have a B.Tech or similar degree. B.SC is not considered equivalent to B.Tech. The present option available for you to join M.Tech in the future is to pass M.Sc. Only then you will be eligible to join M.Tech. The diploma course you are currently doing will not help you to join M.Tech. You need to have studied maths as one of the subject in the 12th standard. Some of them offering courses in this area are IGNOU, Bhoj Open University, Burdwan University etc offers correspondence courses.

Yes you can do this but, better you choose you graduation subject related.
because if you are moving just on view of salary then. just wait and thik about your decission.
because if you did this then you will not get good marks not not able to perform well in master degree.

Dear freind this possiblity for which you are asking can be done only after completing your msc.Because bsc is of only 3 years programme, while b.tech is of 4 years programme. So bsc is not equivalent to b.tech, for pursuing m.tech you have to do msc.

Yes you can do M.tech. There are no certain rules that you need to study the same group which you studied in b.tech.You did biotechnology in b.tech so you can study computer science in m.tech no problem. There are many opportunities in m.tech you can get into IT sector and even you can go for abroad studies.

Re: M.Tech in Computer Science after B.Sc in Biotechnology

    Hey dear friend,
Its very nice that you want to pursue further studies, but as far as your qualifications are concerned , i dont think that you are eligible to do MTech . As for doing Mtech you should have a proper degree like Btech degree or BCA+MCA degree.

Now since you wish to do MTech, you have to 1st do M.Sc, then only you will be considered as eligible for doing MTech.
But dont get disheartened, because if you choose for M.Sc and then M.Tech, it will give a boost to your career. You will definitely have a higher salary package and a more better life than what you are having now

    SO GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    regards.............
