The decision of choosing which course is best for you depends up on your interest in that subject. As you have completed your B Tech in EC, it will be a good option for you to do continue your PG with the subject you have done in you degree, as M-Tech in EC will let you to know more on the subject. It can help you go into lucrative areas of research, circuit designing, and communication network designing.

The MBA is a general broad degree covering a wide variety of business issues and training students for careers in managing any area of business. The MBA was developed mainly because when people with technical backgrounds are getting promoted into management they are not always able to manage resources, projects and time properly. So MBA gives them the proper guidance and training to deal with these managerial challenges. So it will be good for you to complete your M Tech first rater than going for MBA.

You need to choose your career path based on your interest. It depends whether you wish to enter in the field of academics, research or corporate world. Even in corporate sector, you could look at two possible career paths, more engineering profile and managerial profile. All coaporate jobs can be highly rewarding. For example chip and circuit designers in companies like Intel, Cisco and paid handsome. Similarly those working in managerial profiles in good corporate firms are also paid quite well. So both options can give you excellent opportunities. However if you would like to pursue a field of academics or engineering job, you could pursue an M. E. in electronics or communications, if you could do it from good institutes like IIT's, NIT's then you could get a placement too in good electronics firms like Philips, Siemens and so on. However if you wish to enter the managerial sector in corporate world you could pursue an MBA. Ideally if you wish to pursue an MBA you could first gain 1 to 2 years of experience and then try for the same.

    hi..
generally the pay for jobs are always high in the electronics sector so you need not be worried of an high paying job,
but the thing is you have to only join an company which is specialized in working in core area of the electronics sector, some of the major companies which fall under these sectors are the mobile companies ,telecommunications companies , digital measuring instruments manufacturer companies etc,one company giving an very high initial package for an fresher is the NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS,you can check there website for any career option at the following address
    http://www.ni.com/
also as for as the choice is to be made between the above two courses just keep in mind that both are equally good subject with equally good scopes in our country,so the decision is on you on what you really want to study,
