    Hi aspirant,



    To become a pilot one must first possess a Student Pilot License (SPL).
    The basic minimum eligibility that a candidate should have for a SPL are:
    -> He or she must have passed his/her Higher Secondary Examination
    -> Minimum marks required for eligibility is at least 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics
    -> Minimum age that a candidate should be is 17 years of age.

    After satisfying the eligibility criteria the first step you have to take is to register yourself at a flying club which is recognized by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
    Other documents required for the registration are:
    -> medical certificate
    -> security clearance
    -> bank guarantee

    After passing the SPL test you are eligible to apply for Private Pilot License (PPL) which is the second step to be a commercial pilot.
    This training session includes sixty hours of flying which also comprises dual flight, solo flights and cross-country flying.
    Now that you have passed the PPL training you can acquire a Commercial Pilot License(CPL).
    It includes a flight training 250 hours of flying.
    After acquiring this license you can start your professional career as a pilot.
