LIC Development Officers Examination

LIC or Life Insurance Corporation of India conducts Development Officers exam to recruit aspirants as Development Officers of LIC. This post belongs to Class II Officer Category, the appointments for which are made at the divisional offices of LIC. Those individuals who secure the required percentage of marks in this written exam will be selected for final interview.

Structure and Pattern of LIC Development Officers Examination

Question Pattern for LIC Development Officers Examination is as follows:-
It is an objective type test that comprises of 200 questions. There will be 4 sections each comprising of 50 questions. These 4 sections include questions on English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and General awareness. Each question carries 1 mark and a negative marking of 1/4 mark is there for each wrong answer. These questions have to be answered in 2 hours time. Those who pass the written test will be short listed for group discussion and interview. Those who pass this level will get the final selection.

Qualification Criteria for LIC Development Officers Examination

The aspirant must be a Citizen of India. Only graduates from a recognized University have the eligibility to apply for the post of Development Officer. Besides the above-mentioned criteria, the aspirant must be in the age group of 21 to 30. Candidates in the reservation have relaxation in age as per rules.

Application Procedure for LIC Development Officers Examination

The aspirant has to go through the notification published in the employment news. A blank application published in the employment newspaper can be used to apply for the exam. The filled in application forms can be submitted to the specified branches of LIC after paying fee of Rs.300/-. This amount can be paid through challan in any of the specified branches of LIC.

Online Applications are also acceptable. Before applying online, the aspirant has to pay an amount of Rs.300 through the fee payment Chelan. The details of fee payment have to be entered while filling the online application.

Application fee for this exam is only Rs.300/-
