    Let me know whether I'm eligible for 3 year LLB Course or not after scoring 37.5% in BA and 50% in MA?

    Hi,

    Kindly let me know whether I am eligible for 3 year LLB course? I scored 37 5 in BA and 50% in MA.

    You can join for the 3 year LLB course after your MA. But you have to fulfill certain criteria’s for joining the graduation in LLB. You need to have at least 40 % of marks for joining the LLB course. There is a relaxation in case of the marks for the reserved categories which is by 5 %. Those who are having a PG degree will be allowed 2% of grace marks. You need to attend the entrance examinations for joining LLB. Hence, you cannot apply for the LLB course as you are having only 37.5% of marks in the graduation.

    Law course which is most powerful and have the right to deal and settle different problems of the common people in India. The success in this course is not based on the marks obtained during your study rather than you have good oral and writing skills , logical reasoning , power of concentration , good memory related to present and past cases to argue and discuss matters with different people. Moreover you should have up to date with different laws.

    Minimum qualification for law course is 10+2 and there are several specializations in law course like
    1. Civil law
    2. Criminal law
    3. Taxation law
    4. Marine law
    5. Labor law
    6. Press law
    7. Excise law etc..................

    The various program's regarding law course like conducting exams , organizing Institutes is organized by Bar Council Of India. Apart from the Degree in law there are Diploma in law offered by various Institutes in different branches.

    P.G in law ( LLM ) is of 2 years and you must have completed your Graduation in any stream or you have completed your Degree in law.

    Many universities offering LLB Degree which the duration of course is 3 years and the minimum requirement for entering into LLB degree is

    Educational qualification :

    you must have completed your Graduation / P.G with minimum of 50% marks , some universities also consider if you have 45% marks.

    Age criteria :

    you must have minimum of 20 years of age.

    So dude I say that YES you are eligible for LLB 3 year course , as you have scored 50% marks in your MA , but you are not eligible with your BA as you have scored least marks 37.5%

    You are not eligible for LLB as you have only 37% in your degree (BA). But Yes, You are eligible if you are SC or ST candidate. Because the min.percent required for them is only 35% in degree.
    So, you are only eligible if you are from SC/ST category.

    LLB Stands for Bachelor of Laws and its a 3year law course.
    Eligibility Criteria for LLB::
    You should have a degree with a min of 40% marks and 35% for SC/ST.
    You will have 2% weightage as you have done PG
