    Lady Irwin College, New Delhi

    The Lady Irwin College was founded in the year 1932. This pioneer institution is a college for women and has an affiliation to the Delhi University. This is one of the first colleges offering courses in Home Science in the country. The Lady Irwin College has undergraduate as well as postgraduate programs in Home Science subjects.

    Admission Process in Lady Irwin College
    Candidates who aspire to join the graduate course (B.Sc) must have cleared their class 10+2 with a minimum of 50 percent marks. They must have learned Mathematics and Physics in addition to Chemistry as their subjects. Students who have studied Home Science, Biotechnology, Psychology, Biology, Computer Science or Economics are also qualified to apply for this course. To apply for the B.Ed course, the aspirants are required to have finished their graduation in the relevant subjects.

    Infrastructure of Lady Irwin College
    The students of the Lady Irwin College are provided with all the latest amenities. They have individual labs for science as well as computer subjects, library, a vast playground, a hostel and a cafeteria. In addition to this, the college also has two programmes that are intended to educate and take care of children with disabilities. For this purpose, the college houses preschools as well as childcare centers. Another feature of the college is its Placement Cell. This enables the students to get jobs as soon as they pass out of the institution.

    Is a LLM candidate qualified to appear for the NET?

    Is there are any course available rather than home science?

    If any one didn't have home science as a subject in 10+2, can he/she apply for B.Sc in home science?

    What is the requirement to do M.Sc in home science in this college?

    Hi friend,
    You can apply for B.Sc in home science.Minimum requirement for first year M.Sc is 40% in the aggregate of english,home science/entrepreneurship/fashion studies and best of any two subjects(only one other language will be permitted).

    i have passed 12th class with 62% percent in fOUR subject. I want to take addmission in Bsc.home science(H).... in lady irwin college , sikandrabad road. can you tell me about admission procedure in lady irwin college. please reply me as i am unable to get information from any other source
