    KIIT MBBS / MDS Entrance Examination

    Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology conducts the KIITEE to select aspirants who are eligible to pursue the MBBS/MDS programs within the institute. Those who pass the written test and interview thereafter can expect medicine admission in KIIT. The test is carried out every year in the month of April.

    Structure and Pattern of the KIITEE

    It is a single response objective type test, which comprises of questions on Physics, Chemistry along with Biology subject in +2 levels. There will be 300 multiple-choice questions in the test. The test will last for a time period of 3.30 hours. There will be minus marking in the test. One mark will be reduced from the correct answer for each erroneous response. English will be the only medium of instruction.

    Qualification Criteria for KIITEE

    Aspirants should have passed the 10+2 course taking Science group so as to be qualified to apply for the KITEE. They ought to have studied Physics, Chemistry as well as Biology in the qualifying course. Applicants need to have completed the course from a recognized institute so as to be eligible to apply for the test. The percentage requirement is 50 % or above in the intermediate course. Besides this, they should be aged between 17 – 25 years. Applicants who come under SC/ST category can avail 10% relaxation in marks and 5 years relaxation in age.

    Application Procedure for KIITEE

    Applicants can download forms along with prospectus from the KIIT official website. After duly filling the forms, aspirants should send it to the University address appending the pertinent credentials. They can also submit the online forms by logging on to the official website of the University and following the sequence of instructions therein.

    Eligibility Details:

    A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB (40% for SC/ST). Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2010 can also apply. Also a candidate should have attained the age of 17 years but not more than 25 years as on 31st December, 2011.

    How to apply:

    Candidates have to apply though the website www.kiitee.ac.in and follow the given instructions. There is no application fee.

    Important Dates:

    Availability of application forms: 1st week of January, 2011

    Last date for receipt of completed application form: last week of February, 2011

    Date of Entrance Examination: 1st week of May, 2011

    Declaration of Results: 1st week of June, 2011

    Pattern of Examination:

    KIITEE IS (KALIGHA INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHONOLOGY) is consider in top 99 college in india .they provide admission in b.tech and mbbs both .they provide admission by aieee and also conducted itself entrance exam.

    Yes obviously K.I.I.T. is undoubtedly a very good college. K.I.I.T., Bhubaneswar is one of the best college in India for B.Tech., whose all India ranking is 54.
