Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana

Khalsa College for Women was established in 1958 with a small number of students. But today the strength of college has reached around 3500 students. It caters to the needs of every class of students in the area. The college has got UGC affiliation in March 1978.It follows a bi-semester system. Khalsa College is affiliated with Punjab University. Each year the college tries to introducing new courses and tries to adapt itself to the requirements of the dynamic global world. Recently the college has started new courses in B.Sc (Biotechnology Honors), Add-on Courses (Bank Management, Travel and Tourism, Fine Arts, Call Centre Management, Computer Graphics and Animation) and Computer based Accountancy.

The candidate should have finished 10, +2 for getting an admission in Under Graduate level courses and for Post Graduate level courses any Graduate from Punjab University or some other University recognized by board.

Infrastructure of Khalsa College for Women

Khalsa College is situated in beautiful city Ludhiana. It is spread over 14 acres. The college campus is filled with state-of-the-art labs and wide playgrounds. The college has great infrastructure including Class Rooms, directorial Block, Staff Room, Common Room, full air conditioned Central Library, Guest House Dispensary, Sports Facilities, Four Hostels, Workshop, Non resident center, Parking Space, Housing facilities, Canteen and Computer Centre. For the convenience of the students and the staff, the college has an annex counter of Punjab and Sind Bank which is very useful for hostel students. The students go through medical check up every year and a doctor is available in the college campus everyday.
