There are very few women in comparison to men who undertake this stream as a career option. Both the areas are very challenging. There is no restrictions for women to join this field. In order to join the Indian Navy or Air force in the technical side it is a must to have completed your graduation. For joining IAF you need to have a minimum height of 162.5 cms. For both Navy and Air Force it is must that the candidate does not have color blindness. Also those who have vision problem and wear glass regularly will be rejected. Since you are currently pursuing B.E you cannot join currently. You need to wait till completion of the course. You can apply whilst in your final year. So that on completion of BE you can join immediately.

Yes now the indian armed forces recruit women to the pilot positions as part of the equal opportunities policy which was kick started couple of years ago. There are opportunities for being ground technicians and customer data owners. After your engineering degree, you can apply for Indian armed force recruitment drives. Usually armed forces conduct exams and interviews to recruit for their technical staff belonging to different grades. So any graduation in engineering or related science subjects is a must for appearing for this exam. So as a woman, there are more opportunities now in the Indian armed force. If you are confident that you will clear all the exams with the necessary cut off we can go ahead and apply for the defense service exam and submit the certificates upon clearing the exam. As a woman, please give attention to other physical criteria too when it comes to recruiting women to the prestigious indian navy and air force.

yes there is a job opportunity for female candidaes in indian navy
and indian air force
there is a entarance exam conducted by UPSC called CDS
which is a written exam after that there is a interview called SSB
if you clear both of this entarence exam then they will allow you to
choice in which force you want to go like in air force or army or in navy
the post you will get after this is officer post in any defence area

as the educational qualification for this
is graduate with min 60%

Dear freind to join Indian navy or Indian force is a proud feeling.As this stream is full of risk and danger so one have to be very bold and strong befor joining this.Eligiblity for such streams is that a candidate must be graduate in any course,should be physicaly fit.You said that you are presently pursuing b.e so this time you are not eligible to join any such stream,after completing your graduation you can join this stream.Good luck.

yes.job availability is also for women in indian air force and indian navy.
In indian air force,as a indian force officer,you will lead and manage.you can work as a pilot,navigator or technical,ground duty officer.
In indian navy,women has also job availbility.but for both you have to clear entrance exam.and also you should satisfy the condition of them about age,qaualification from recognized universtiy,body structure .

Female Candidates can apply for Short Service Commission Officers in the Education Branch of the Indian Navy.

Age. 21 to 25 years

Education Qualification:
Master’s Degree in one of the following with minimum 50% marks
Physics (with Maths in B.Sc.) , Maths (with Physics in B.Sc.), Chemistry (with
physics or Maths in B.Sc.), English and History.

PHYSICAL STANDARDS
(a) Height and Weight: Minimum height Male-157 cms, Female-152 cms with correlated
weight.
(b) Eye Sight: The minimum acceptable standard for distant vision 6/60, 6/60 correctable to
6/6, 6/12 with glasses. Should not be color/night blind.
