    Jharkhand Combined Medical Entrance Examination

    Jharkhand Combined Medical Entrance Examination is conducted with an objective to select candidates in to Medical degree courses in reputed colleges in the state of Jharkhand. JCECE (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) is the board which conducts this exam. Candidates need to qualify this exam with a good score in order to join for MBBS/BDS courses.

    Structure and Pattern of Jharkhand Combined Medical Entrance Examination

    The structure of Jharkhand Combined Medical Entrance Examination comprise of two main sections –
    • Section –A – Preliminary examination – Objective type questions – 200 questions – Time duration - 2 1/2 hours
    • Section – B – Main Examination
    This section is divided in to two parts –
    • Part – 1 - Physics and Chemistry – 200 Objective type questions – Time duration – 180 minutes
    • Part – 2 – Biology – 100 Objective type questions – Time duration – 90 minutes
    The questions included in both the sections of JCMEE will mainly come from PCB subjects studied in 12th class. Only those candidates who are able to qualify the Preliminary examination will be eligible to attend the Main examination.

    Eligibility criteria of Jharkhand Combined Medical Entrance Examination

    A pass in 12th class is the basic qualification required to apply for Jharkhand Combined Medical Entrance Examination. It is a must to learn Biology, Chemistry and Physics subject in 12th class. 50% marks is essential for this exam. Candidates should not be below 17 years of age to attend this exam.
