    JENPARH

    JENPARH is conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Exams Board for selecting candidates to courses like BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, BPT and B.Sc Nursing. Those who qualify the test can seek admission to any of the reputed colleges offering these courses in West Bengal.

    Structure and Pattern of JENPARH

    JENPARH consist of two papers having two different time schedules. Paper-I includes questions from Biology for 100 marks. Paper II includes questions from Physics and Chemistry. Total marks allotted for Paper II is also 100. Total time allotted for the test is 3 hours. The time allotted for each of the papers is as follows:
    • Paper-I: 1 hour
    • Paper-II: 2 hours
    Each question of this objective model test carries 1 mark. There is negative marking for wrong answers.

    Eligibility Criteria for JENPARH

    Indian citizens who have completed 17 years of age can apply. Such candidates should have passed 12th class from West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education or any other recognized institution. They should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects in the 12th class level. A separate pass in each subject is mandatory. In case of B.Sc Nursing course, candidate needs to score 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English when taken together. In this case also, a separate pass in each subject is preferred.

    Application Procedure of JENPARH

    Application form for JENPARH can be collected from the branches of Axis bank by paying Rs. 350/-. It can also be obtained from the office of West Bengal Joint Entrance Exams Board. There is provision to collect application form via postal method. In this case, applicant should send a request along with a Bank draft of Rs. 450/- taken in favor of West Bengal Joint Entrance Exams Board payable at Kolkata. Filled up applications must be submitted either at the branches of Axis bank or at the office of West Bengal Joint Entrance Exams Board.
