    IPS after BCA

    Hi,
    I am Safwan from Mangalore. I am a final year BCA student from SDM college of Business Management, Mangalore. I've decided to do join Indian Police Service but I don't have proper knowledge about it. So please help me with your suggestions so that I can join Indian Police Force.

    To join the police force you need to appear for the entrance exam which is conducted by UPSC. It a must to have a graduation degree to appear for this entrance exam. However since you are in your final year you can appear for the exam but you need to have completed your graduation at the time of joining. As part of this test you will be required to first appear for the preliminary exam. On clearing that you will called to appear for the mains exam and finally there will be an interview. As part of the preliminary exam it is important that you be thorough in the general knowledge are. You also need to select two optional subjects from the list. It is also important that you be physically fit. All the information for this exam is available in the UPSC site.

    As to be eligible in the IPS exam a candidates needs to have any degree from a renowned university. There is no prescribed percentage required so far. The age of the candidate must be below 30 at the time of the exam. Candidates awaiting for the result can also appear in the preliminary exam. Thereafter if you clear the prelims you will need to appear for the finals and also the interview. Candidates must be an Indian citizen. They must also be in a good physical condition at the time of exam. The application forms for the exams are available in all leading post offices across India.     To become an IPS you have to apply for the civil service examination. This examination is conducted by the UPSC every year. To apply for this examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

    Education Qualification
    For the civil service examination candidate should be graduate in any discipline from a
    recognized university.
    Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for the civil service
    examination.

    Age Limit
    For the civil service examination candidate age should be between 21 to 30 years.

    For being IPS you need to appear in the civil service examination. cilvil service examination is conducted by UPSC..
    I think after BCA you are eligible for giving IPS exam...

    TO BE A IPS you have to appear for the entrance exam conducted by UPSC .the exam is divided into three categorize that are ;preliminary exam, main exam , and an interview .
    to pass through tis exam your GK,GS should be good and current affairs .

    first you should complete your graduation first than you should clear this entrance exam. there will be pre. exam after that main exam and than there will be an interview.than you will be select.
    there will be two papers first will be from g.k. of 150 mm. and second will be of 300 mm related to your graduation portion.

    To Become Police Officer,You Need To crack the Civil Service Examination.

    There is a three Levels of Rounds.

    1)Preliminary
    2)Main
    3)Interview

    Eligibility Criteria :

    Age Limits :

    The Candidate Age should between 21 - 30 Yrs the year of Examination.

    The upper age limit will be applicable for OBC and SC/ST candidates.

    Education Qualification :

    The candidate should have a degree from a recognized University Or Equivalent Examination.

    Those in the final year of a degree course can also Eligible.

    Number of Attempts :

    Four attempts for general,
    Seven attempts for OBC,
    No limit for SC/ST

    Physical Fitness is very Important for Civil Service Examination.

    First You need to crack the Preliminary Examination.Those who Passed in the Preliminary Examination are called Main Examination.

    Preliminary Examination Consist of two papers.Both are Multiple Choice questions.

    Each Paper consist of 200 Marks.

    Main Examination Consist of Nine Papers.You can choose Your Optional Subjects.

    Dear,
    In order to join the IPS i.e. Indian police service the minimum educational qualification required is to be a graduate.
    First of all you need to clear the CSAT exam conducted by the UPSC.
    The age limitation is between 21-30 years with 5 year relaxation for SC/ST candidates and 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates.
    General categories get 4 while reserved categories get 7 attempts to crack the exam.

    You have to clear the upsc examinations after completing your graduation,since you are pursuing final year you are aso elilgible for this but you have to clear it when they are called for the inteeview.you have to clear the entrance within four attempts only.there is no chance for the fifth attempt.you will have two papers one is based on G.K and the other is based on your graduation part.After this main exam you have to go for pre exam and then if you are selected they will call u for the interview.good luck.

    And BCA is the graduate degree so you can appear for this exam.

    UPSC conducts IPS exam, for IES this age limit should be 21 to 30 year

    Its good know that you in the last year of your Graduation from the stream of BCA,and even yuo have planned for future also i.e in which line you have to go and make your career.So ,for becoming an IPS officer you have fully dedicate yourself towards the studies ,what is happening in the world national or international and many other things .Firstly ,keep the updation about the UPSC exam means that is there any changes occured in exam pattern or anything .     THE ONLY YOU HAVE TO DO IS that you have to give U.P.S.C. exam........
    and you have to be physically fit..... and mentally strong.......

    IPS is indian police service ,inorder to get IPS you need to appear for entrance exam conducted by UPSE .since you have completed BCA you are eligible to appear for the exam ...
    if you really wish to go for IPS then you have to work hard

    IPS is conducted by UPSC.The eligibility for IPS is a bachelor's degree from a recognized university.Also your age should be 21-30yrs.The exam is conducted in three stages i.e Preliminary,Main and Interview.You need to pass all the three stages.The notification of the exam is given in the UPSC website.

    hello , IPS is the exam to place you in the higher post in police departments of India with the position called SP ( Supernatant of police )

    you have to write the UPSC civil service exam in order to join the IPS

    here comes the eligibility for IPS

    age limit : 21 to 30 ( OBC relaxation 3 / SC,ST relaxation 5 years -only upper limit )

    Education:
    10 + 2+ Graduate
    or
    10+3 (diploma)+ Graduate

    Nationality : Indian

    If your aim is to become IPS officer, then for this you have to apply for UPSC Civil services examination. And To apply for this examination you need to complete your graduation degree course in any discipline from a recognised university, There is no minimum percentage eligibility criteria to apply for UPSC Civil services examination. But your age should between 21 to 30 years (If you are general Candidates) The Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST and OBC Candidates.

    So, You have already completed your BCA course, so yes you are eligible for IPS Officer Examination.

    The Notification was published in the employment newspaper or in the UPSC website in the month of February every year, And eligible candidates may apply for this examination online, the application form are also availiable in the designated post offices in India.

    General Candidates will gets only 4 attempts in this examination, 7 for OBC Candidates and no limits for SC, ST Candidates. Final Year Graduate candidates are also eligible to apply for UPSC Civil services examination. For this year the preliminary examination was already completed, So please apply next time, Till then keep waiting for the Notification.

    This examination was conducted in 2 stages, Firstly Preliminary Exam and then Main examination, The preliminary examination will have 2 papers of same marks and same duration and after clear preliminary examination you will get eligible for Main examination.     Yes you can apply for IPS.But as a BCA candidates you should go for MBA.
    Here the eligibility for IPS are asfollows:
    Eligibility:

    Candidate must be a degree holder
    Age:min 21 years.
    max:30 years.
    For OBC -max 33 years.
    For SC/ST -max 35 years.
