The application forms for all UPSC exams are common. The candidates have to choose which exam is whether he/she is applying for. Both Online and Offline options are available. Before applying online you should carefully read the notification published. The online application can be done through the official website of UPSC. It consists of two parts. The candidates have to fill both carefully. The candidate must satisfy all the eligibility criteria for exam. The offline application form can be done by filling application form manually and send it to the official address as specified by them. You can collect the same from any post office nearby. The application form costs Rs.30/-.

Before filling the form you must make it a point to read the instructions carefully. Note down all the information in another paper in the same order. Fill the form based on the notes. This will ensure that there are no errors. If you plan to fill it offline then visit the post office near you. Else it is also available online. Make sure that you satisfy the criterias required. Also do keep a copy for future reference. You will need to pay Rs 30 to purchase it. Make sure to send it across at the earliest.

The cost of IAS exam form is Rs 30 you should be in graduation final year and your age must be 21 years old then only you are eligible to give the exam.

To become IAS, you will have to apply for Civil Service exam, conducted by UPSC.
In this exam around 900 people are selected among 4L, so you can imagine the level of competition ..!!
Top 120 are given IAS cadre.

This exam has three stages:
Priliminary exam
Mains
Interview

It is a year long procedure. Applications forms are available in February.
Forms can be obtained from any Post office.
Exam is held in May, after you clear priliminary exam, then only you can sit for Mains.
