Certified Public Accountant is one of the courses offered by ICFAI. This course is basically for those from a graduate background and interested in the accounting and taxation field. Minimum of 45% in graduation is a must. There are basically two types of course. The first is the regular course which is a 24 months course. The second is the accelerated course which for 12 months. This is a distance education course which can be pursued any where. The course mains trains the candidates in areas like accounting, auditing, taxation and law. The course is best suited for those who are interested in the finance field. They have various option like joining accounting, auditing, Investment banking, Forex etc.

The CPA stands for Certified Public Accountant. This course is offered by the CPA Council formulated by the ICFAI University. The CPA is an exclusive program which covers up subjects like accounts, audit, tax, law and other related areas. As to join CPA course a candidate needs to have a bachelor’s degree from any stream of study. Candidates must also have a minimum percentage of 45% for getting admission. The CPA course will be for a time period of 24 months. The exams are carried out every year in the month of January, April, and July and also in the month of October. After enrollment candidates can appear in the exam within 5 months. The ICFAI also offer this course to individuals with CA, ICWA or CS for a duration of 1 year.
