Re: Information about the Engineering Entrance Exams.

Sure you can appear for the engineering entrance exam. But there are conditions like you should have pursued Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th standard. Also you should have atleast a 1st Class in these subjects. There are entrance exams which are conducted at the All India Level and some which are conducted at the State Level. At the State Level preference is given to the residents of that State. At the All India Level you could appear for the All India Engineering Entrance Exam. Also there is entrance exam conducted by the IIT's i.e. IIT-JEE. You will need to appear for an objective type paper. There will be negative marking so be sure before attempting any question. Also you need to be on the lookout for any advertisement regarding issue of forms.

As to get admission in renounces colleges you need to secure excellent score in the entrance exam. In India there are many engineering entrance exam. AIEEE, JEE and SLEEE are the main exam which is well recognized and considered very important amongst the rest. You can appear in all engineering exam. There are online and offline application available for all the exams. Most of these engineering exams have 2 papers. Students need to be well prepared for these exams. Due to large number of students applying the cut off is kept very high in most of the reputed colleges.

Many prominent Engineering entrance exams like IIT-JEE, AIEEE, VITEEE, SET, etc have already been help. Certain state level exams are the only options for you, if they are available. The best option for you, if you want a highly reputed engineering college, is to wait for one more year, prepare and study, and appear for the exams like IIT-JEE, BITS, AIEEE, VITEEE, etc next year.
    all the best!!

Re: Information about the Engineering Entrance Exams.

if you have passed 12th with science stream with physics, chemistry and mathematics then you will be eligible for engineering entrance examination. as you have passed 12th on 2009 so you don't have much time to appear in engineering entrance examination. may be you will cross the age limit or you will cross the maximum number of attempt. so you should appear in engineering entrance examination soon may be better to appear in this year. the various engineering entrance examinations are AIEEE, IIT JEE and other state level engineering entrance examination like WBJEE etc. if you want to take admission in IIT then appear in IIT JEE. if you only want to take admission in your state only then appear in your state level engineering entrance examination. good luck.

yes ofcourse you can write the engineering entrance exam this year. But you have to get prepare for it because for some of the exams you have negative makings for the wrong attempt so you have to be careful before attempting the question. There are many entrance exams such as AIEEE(all india entrance engineering exam), IIT-JEE, DCE,AMITY, EAMCET etc which are conducted by different universities for different states or for the whole country. just you have to be prepared for this exams and you have to know the last date for applying for the entrance exam. And as soon as possible you have to apply for it.
    best of luck.

Yes,you can appear for Engineering Entrance exams this year, but yo must have to fulfill the eligibility conditions for that.
    The eligibility conditions are:

-You must have passed your 12th with minimum 60% marks from recognized Educational board.
-You must have completed your 12th with Physics,Chemistry,Maths as compulsory subjects.

If you want to get admission in any Engineering branch then you must have to qualify the National level Engineering Entrance exams such as AIEEE,IIT-JEE.There are many other Engineering Entrance exams but those are conducted by Universities, they make you eligible for admission in Engineering only in the respective University. But,on the basis of AIEEE/IIT-JEE you can take admission in any Engineering College of India which is affiliated to AIEEE/IIT-JEE.Basically all the Engineering entrance exams are Objective type.On the basis of your rank in these Entrance tests, you will be assigned College. If you want to get admission in reputed Engineering Colleges, then you must have to score a high in the National level Engineering Entrance tests, because reputed Colleges have high cut-off ranks.

    Hi Friend ,

If you wish to do engineering you need to give the entrance Exam for the same .There are many engineering entrance tests like MPPET,UPTU,,AIEEE,IIt etc.

IIT-JEE : India's one of the toughest Examination to get in Top Engineering Colleges in India .

AIEEE: If you get qualified in AIEEE then you will get seat in NIT's

State Engineering Entrance Exams : To get admission in your state engineering colleges .like MPPET,UPTU,DCE etc

But as you are 2009 passed out you have only one chance left for AIEEE, so make a best shot .You cant give IIT-JEE but you can appear in your State Entrance Exam.

    Good Luck!!!
