    Admission procedure in Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore

    The students those who are about to appear for the 12th standard board examination in the year 2012 and those who passed this examination in 2011 or its equivalent are also eligible to apply for this examination. Apart from this, the candidate should secure a good rank in KVPY examination. It is an entrance examination conducted by the department of Science and Technology exclusively for those candidates who have secured an aggregate of 80% marks for their higher secondary examination. Admission to the various post graduation courses in Engineering are made according to the GATE scores obtained by the candidate.
