The application form and the information brochure will be available from the first week of October 2012. The last date for submission of application will be in the last week of October 2012. The exam will be usually held in the second week of December 2012. To join the course, the candidate must have passed the 10th examination which is recognized by Law in India or by the Central Government. There is no restriction in terms of percentage scored or age. The candidate should pay the tuition and registration fee of Rs. 1500/- along with the filled application. The total fee for the whole CA course comes to be Rs. 17,500/-.

The Institute which is responsible for conducting the exams for the CPT is The Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test (CA CPT)

Those who have completed their 12th class from a recognized Board are eligible to appear for the Examination.

You can apply for the CA-CPT exam online and you can register for the exam by filling in an application form along with an examination fee of Rs. 600/- You can also download the form from the official website: www.icai.org.

The Important dates for the CA-CPT Examination for June exam is usually on 3rd week of June, 2012. The Online Registration Mode will conducted be conducted four times in a Year. Examination will be in the months of August, September, October and December, 2012.

To pass in the exam you must score 50% marks in the exam of CA-CPT.

In the CA CPT main examinations in Paper Pencil mode, the candidates are provided with an OCMR sheet along with the question paper wherein the answers have to be marked. These exams are conducted twice every year generally on the first sunday of the months of June and December.

CPT(Common Proficiency test) is Conducted by the The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. This Exam is Conducted twice in a year on the first Sunday of the months June and December.



There is no specific age limit specified for appearing for the exam..

Educational Qualifications:

>> You should pass your 10th Standard from a Board which is recognized by the Central Government.

>> You must pass your 12th from a board from a Government recognized Board

>> Even if you have appeared for your 12th standard final exam you are eligible to appear for the examination.

* If you have been qualified for the CPT but failed in the 10+2 examination then you no need to appear for the CPT again you can directly apply for IPCC Examination.

>> As of 2012 the Exam will be Conducted on June 3rd 2012

>> There is nor restriction for the number of attempts you make.

EXAM PATTERN:

>> The Exam can be written either in English or Hindi.

>> The Online Examination must be written in English only.

Students registering on or before October 1st can appear in the December Examination the same Year

So you have to register before 1st April 2012 to appear for the June examination which is going to be held on June 3rd, 2012

CA CPT Exam is conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for admitting students to Chartered Accountancy course.
