IGNOU B.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam

India Gandhi Open University (IGNOU) conducts an entrance exam to admit candidates to its B.Sc. Nursing course. Admission will be given on the basis on the score obtained in this exam.

Structure and Pattern of IGNOU B.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam

Question asked in this exam will be objective type with more than two choices of answers. Candidates should answer each question by selecting any one of the options given for each question. That answer should be marked on the OMR sheet given at the time of the examination. This exam will include objective questions from the subjects studied in General Surgery and Midwifery (GNM).

Qualification Criteria for IGNOU B.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam

Candidates need three year diploma in General Surgery and Midwifery after passing plus two to apply for this test. Such candidates also need two years experience in the corresponding field. Candidates who possess three year diploma in General Surgery and Midwifery after tenth are also eligible to apply for this test. But in this case, candidates need to have five years experience in the corresponding field.

Application Procedure of IGNOU B.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam

Applicants should obtain the application forms of this entrance exam from the University counters after paying Rs.500/- in cash. If any applicant cannot obtain it directly from the University counter, they can receive it through post. Applicants should send a demand draft of Rs. 550/-to the concerned regional centre or registrar of IGNOU to receive the forms through post. DD should be payable at New Delhi or any city of the regional centre with name and address of the applicant written on its back side. Applicants can also visit the IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in to download forms. They should fill it completely and send to the concerned authority along with a DD of Rs.550/- through post within stipulated date.
