    IELTS

    IELTS is an international-level test conducted for testing the English lingo expertise of aspirants all over the sphere. The IELTS test is conducted in two versions mainly, as an academic and general training test. More than 6000 intercontinental organizations like Universities, multi-national companies, Government bodies and so on accept the IELTS score.

    Structure and Pattern of the IELTS

    The IELTS test is split into 4 separate tests, namely listening, interpretation, on paper and speaking tests. The language test will last for time interval of 2 hours and 45 minutes. The speaking test will be carried out one week after or before the other tests.

    Qualification Criteria for IELTS

    There is no particular qualification required to attend the IELTS test. Candidates who want to study tertiary level education and those who are trying for employments in English speaking countries need to clear the test. Therefore, the qualification criterion may vary with their purpose of attending the test.

    Application Procedure for IELTS

    Applicants have to register for the IELTS test so as to attend the test. They can download forms from the IELTS official site. After duly filling the forms, aspirants have to submit the same to the nearest IELTS test centre. They ought to enclose the significant credentials specified in the information brochure along with the forms. Aspirants must also affix recent passport size color photographs, which are taken within 6 months in the relevant columns of the forms.

    The test is carried out at more than 800 different locations in 130 countries all over the world.

    Important Dates

    The English language test is conducted on 48 fixed dates annually. In a month, the test is carried out 4 times.
