To graduate in related field are eligible to apply for the initial examination. Candidates must be a certified university courses and qualifications.

Eligibility for the ICAR ARS /. NET means to participate in a preliminary test with a score required to pass the test. In addition, applicants should be aged above 21 and 32 the year as per the date of notification.
The initial test may be of objective type, the main types of tests can include explanatory. Both tests include questions on agriculture and allied sciences. General awareness and current affairs questions will be included in the test. Initial tests to 150 200 points, 240 points to take the means of 3 hours will be for a time period of minutes. There will be a Viva - 60 points for sound testing as part of the instrument is used.
