see buddy you can appear for ias for sure .....your backlogs are not a problem......you will have to clear your backlogs soon.......you can be sure of a question on this in your interview if you reach there..........so be prepared with a sloid reason to defend yourself..........if you are really passionate then give it a try.....i would suggest to opt for arts subjects in mains as your engg subjects does'nt seem very strong..........best of luck!!!

it really good that you want to appear for IAS.
Backlogs are not a problem.
You need to be solid with your basics and try to be strong in your concepts.
You can look for the latest pattern and subjects that you will be taking while your preparation for IAS.
You will have to defend yourself for the reason of your backlogs.
