I have completed my training on Java. What should I do now? Can I really get a job based on my core java training? If not so then what should I learn further to compete for java fresher jobs in IT industry?

    Dear friend,

After completing JAVA you can be hired in reputed IT companies if there is any requirement of a fresher who consist good knowledge in JAVA.You may get a job based on core java training. But my suggestion is your scope of jobs will be better if you complete advanced JAVA(with javascript and html application) and after that .net and php course(total 8month duration).

    Good Luck

i don't think your core java knowledge is necessary to get a job in IT field.IT field requires professionals.if you are completed you should go for a PG programme.since you are choosing IT field i suggest you to do your post graduation in MCA or MS(computer science or information technology).MCA is a 3 year PG programme where as MS have 2 year and 4 year programmes.both are best courses.and doing these courses in reputed college in regular manner will be better.because companies do not prefer correspondance PG holders much.you can earn salary starting from 20,000 as well if you completed your PG.
otherwise if you are choosing a UG course you can go for BCA,Bsc computer science or Bcom to get into IT field starting from the salary of 9000.but better if you do your PG in MS or in MCA for better placements in IT firms
