    I have completed M.Tech. Is it compulsory to do B.Ed if I want to apply for PGT?

    do m tech candidates require to be b.ed for applying for PGT?

    Instead of B.ed you should apply for UGC NET so that you will be a assistant prof in any good engineering college.you will get more salary as compared to a teacher in any school.you must have master degree with min 50 % and you must have age below 28 years if you will apply for the post of junior research fellow.if any candidate apply for the post of lecturer the there is no bar on maximum age.once you qualify the NET exam you will get all the salary and facilities in any govt /private college according to UGC rules.you will get salary from 30000 to 40000 /pm+other facilities like hostel+food+leave in a years+promotion etc.if you will teach in a college continuously more than 2 years then you will earn 40000 to 50000 /pm.at this time you will get post of lecturer instead of assistant prof.after m.tech you can go for job is research and development industries in India.
