No, it will no affect your PCS interview. If you can perform well in written exam and interview, then you will succeed. PCS usually checks whether the candidate hold the mentioned eligibility criterion. Number of attempts in obtaining required eligibility is not a restrictive factor for appointment. Eligible candidates who can score well in written exam can expect employment. This is mainly because written exams holds more marks when compared to interview sessions. Anyway, performance in both the sessions is evaluated for appointment.

no it will never effect you interview once if you can make to sit in the interview to prove you self , you need to impress you interview, say the truth if an issue comes why ur % was less never attempt wrongly as it would give wrong impression and remember u were given a chance in interview u need to utilize to the maximum extent by say what had happened really , and why have not u scored good marks, if ur really impressive and prove to work hard in future than you can alsways be a member of the company

My friend, now a days marks does not count so much, a interviewer see how much are you confident enough and impress them and console them that you can handle the situation. And you are selected. Marks are counted mainly during giving the exam that you are coming in the cut off marks or not.

No, it will not affect your PCS (Punjab Civil Services) interview because they consider only the eligibility criteria of the candidate.
They won't bother about the attempts you took in your past for your studies.

    • Should have completed matriculation exam in punjabi as one of the subject or any other equivalent exam in punjabi.
    • Age should be in between 21-35 years.
    • Age relaxation is there of up to 10 years for differently abled people of punjab.
    • Should be physically fit and you have to qualify in the medical/physical test.
    • Minimum Height required for men-5'.7"
    • Women - 5'.3"
    • Chest for Men should be 33" when un-expanded and 34 1/2 when expanded.
    • For general candidates they have 4 attempts to get-through that PCS exam.
    • There are only 3 attempts for Ex-Servicemen category candidates.

    Exam Pattern:-

    Preliminary exam
    Main examination
    Interview

Between preliminary and mains they will conduct a physical test to test the fitness. If you have qualified in that test only you have a chance to appear for mains.

    All the best.

More than your track records your present performance always holds the key. Thus your previous performance is not going to affect your PCS exam in any way. What has been done cannot be undone. Therefore right now your main priority should be to make it to the interview session and be very vocal about your ambitions and desires. Even if they asks you about your previous performances you need not back off. Rather boldly you should face those questions and answer honestly. Be yourself, don't be nervous and the rest will take care of itself. Good luck

    Eligibility for PCS exam-

1- You must have a bachelor's degree in any stream.
    2- You must be Indian.
3- Your age must be in between 20 to 35 years.

So, you can see that there is no demand of marks in PCS exam. As you have completed your graduation so you are eligible to appear in PCS exam. Your failure in exam will not effect your interview if you have prepared well for interview. For increasing chances of getting selected in interview, you must score good rank in written exam. Best of luck.
