    I belong to BC category. My age is 33 years. Am I eligible to write IBPS exam?

    want to know eligability age for BC's. to write IBPS exam.
    Hi, pls let me know whether BC's can write exam at the age of 33?

    IBPS conduct two exams 1)PO and 2)CLERK Exam.

    For PO exam the age criteria is 21 to 30 years old and for CLERK exam the age criteria is 19 to 28 years old.

    The Age relaxation for SC/ST candidate is 5 years.
    The Age relaxation for OBC candidate is 3 years.
    The Age relaxation for PH/EXP SERVICE MEN candidate is 10 years.

    Your age now 33 years old.If your age is over 33 years old.Then you are not applicable for IBPS exam.

    Because the age criteria for IBPS PO Exam is 30+3=33 years old.

    Hello Friend....

    Dude you can not attempt the IBPS Examination at the age of 33 years and as you belong to the BC categories you can apply to the examination till 33 years only as you had already got the 33 years....

    IBPS Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts the examination for the selection of candidates in to the Public sector banking sector and there are some eligibility criteria which must be followed in order to appear for the examination....These eligibility criteria are must to be followed before appearing to the examination....
    There are two kinds of posts which are being selected for the IBPS Examination such as...
    *Clerical examination
    *PO/Management Trainee Examination
    These categories will be having the Eligibility criteria which are must to be followed before appearing to the examination such as....
    Clerical Qualifications:
    >>You must have attained the age of 18 years and must not exceed the age of 28 years...
    age relaxations are also available such as..
    SC/ST-5
    BC's-3
    >>You must have completed the 10th class for appearing to the IBPS Clerical examination...
    Higher then the 10th class are also eligible for the examination...
    PO/Management Trainee Examination:
    >>You must have attained the age of 21 years and must not exceed the age of 30 years...
    age relaxations
    SC/ST-5
    BC's-3
    >>You must have completed the Graduation for appearing to the examination.....
    These are some of the eligibility criteria which are to be followed before appearing to the examination......
    As you had attained the age of 33 years the age limit is til 30 years and as you are from BC you got 3 years relaxation and that time has been over and you can not give the examination.....

    Age limit for IBPS is:
    candidates must have at least 20 years and the maximum age is 30 years.
    * 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
    * 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates
    * 10 years relaxation for PWD candidates

    So you are eligible to write IBPS exam.

    the minimum age to write IBPS exam is 20 years and maximum age is 30 years.

    * 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates

    So you areeligible to appear for IBPS exam.

    yes you are eligible for IBPS Bank exam but this is a last choices to you
    IBPS Clerk Exam Qualification :

    Complete a 12th stands with 60% marks from a recognized university or a degree in any stream from a recognized university

    age limit :
    min of age 18 years & max of 30 years for General candidates
    33 years for OBC Candidates
    35 years for SC/ST Candidates

    IBPS Po Exam Qualification :
    complete a degree in any stream with min of 60% marks from a recognized university

    age limit :
    min of age 20 years & max of 30 years for General candidates
    33 years for OBC Candidates
    35 years for SC/ST Candidates

    IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

    IBPS conducts a Common Written Exam(CWE) every year to recruit
    Probationary Officers(PO's)
    Clerks and
    Management Trainees

    Bank exams typically have the following topics in their exam pattern. They normally include;
    Reasoning
    English
    Aptitude
    Numerical ability
    GK or General awareness
    Eligibility for IBPS PO's :

    You should have a degree(Without backlogs),which is recognized by government of India

    Your age must be between 20-30 years for general category
    - For SC/ST it is 5 years relaxation
    - For BC relaxation set as 3 years.
    - For the PH candidates 10 years and ex-service-men 5years.

    IBPS Pattern and Syllabus::

    IBPS will organize a Common written examination(CWE) comprising Objective and Descriptive papers.

    Objective section carries 225 marks and should be completed in 150 minutes(1 1/2 hrs).

    The 250 questions in this section will include::
    - Verbal/Numeric Reasoning
    - General English
    - Questions related to Banking/Insurance/Investment sector,vomputers and typical quantitative aptitude.

    The Descriptive section (60 minute) will analyze the English writing caliber of You,and it carries 25 marks.

    Test of Reasoning:

    This section consists of verbal and non-verbal questions. It will have questions from

    Analogies, visual memory, figure classification, relationship concepts, judgment, similarities, number series, differences etc. It will also focus on studentís abilities to solve abstract ideas, arithmetical computation etc.

    Test of English Language:

    In this section candidates knowledge in English would be tested. There will questions based on grammar, sentence correction, opposites, usage, synonyms, comprehension etc

    Test of Numerical Ability:

    This area is mainly based on arithmetical problems, fractions, decimals, whole numbers etc. It will not deal with any complicated arithmetical problems.

    Test of General Knowledge and General Awareness:

    This section aims on your aptitude and accuracy.
    You have to mainly deal with questions related to differences and similarities between figures, numbers or names.
    It will also cover topics like abbreviations, filing, indexing etc.

    Hello dude!

    The following are the eligibility details for the IBPS CLERK Exams:

    AGE:

    * The candidate must have attained minimum 18 years.

    * The candidate must not have more than 30 years of age.

    * There is also age relaxation provided for reserved candidates:

    For SC/ST candidates: 5 years,

    For OBC candidates: 3 years,

    For PWD candidates : 10 years.


    Education Qualification:

    * You must have passed SSC with 60% of marks.
    * you must have passed INTERMADIATE with 55% of marks.


    So if your Age still continues to be 33 before the date of the exam then you are eligible of the exam.
