A B.Tech degree with the above mentioned percentage of marks will definitely fetch you good jobs. You can apply for jobs in both the government sector and private sector companies. You can apply for jobs in several public sector companies such as BHEL, NTPC, DRDO, BARC, ONGC, SAIL etc. The selection for jobs in these companies will be done mainly through a written examination. If you get selected in the written test, you will be called for GD and Interview. Apart from this, you can apply for jobs in multinational companies such as Wipro, Infosys, TCS etc as per the available vacancies. Regarding the salary part, it will depend on the position for which you have applied, experience level and also the company where you have applied.

it's good but if you can increase a bit it would do no harm. Also it is important to know your concepts well rather than just mugging up the answers for the exams to score in the exam.

    Hii,

You should always try to get more marks as career opportunities increase with with more percentage.

regarding aa career in EEE you should try for public sector companies like BHEL, NTPC, DRDO, BARC, ONGC, SAIL etc for which you have to study the subjects of your branch and prepare for the written exam and Interview.

you need to put in a lot of hardwork to get into these companies.

You can also try for software jobs like TCS Wipro Infosys etc for these you need knowledge in
    C
    C++
    JAVA
    DBMS
    Data Structures.

    Thank you

Re: I am studying B.Tech EEE with 68% aggregate. Is it sufficient to get a good job? If No, Should I improve further?

68 % is a good aggregate ; better for you if you improve more . .!!

    List of Companies

    National Thermal Power Corporation(NTPC)

    Bharat Heavy Electricals limited(BHEL)

    Jindal Steel and Power Limited

    Steel Authority of India Limited(SAIL)

    Bharat Electronics Ltd.(BEL)

I have given here a list of companies which you can try out for after completing your Engineering with minimum of 70% aggregate.the aggregate level may be higher or lower depending upon the company.

But,for most of the Public Sector Undertaking(PSU's) the aggregate must be above 65%.

    Procedure

The procedure almost remains the same for all the examinations conducted by core companies.the test is basically divided into two parts

    1.Written Test

    2.Interview

The written test is generally conducted in selected Cities.

If selected for the written you will be called up for the interview where they will decide whether to select you or not based upon your performance.

    good luck . .

    hello
you have studying in B.tech 6 sem.
you want to know that your aggregate marks are sufficient or not.
This is depend on company status.
if that company is MNC's then you have to get minimum 70% marks but this is also depend on company that how many marks they allow for interview.
if you are giving interview in local company then your marks are good.
but main point is this in both side you must know about concept which will they ask in interview.
If that time you are not able to give ans of regarding question then they will not select to you for job.
so this is must that you have command on your concept not on marks.
Marks is also important just of eligibility for interview.

    good luck

    hi dear,
u r maintaining 60% is a good thing you have acheived, but
if wanna open the doors of many good jobs u should work hard to get 65%.

there are lots of PSU which demand 65% in graduation i.e B.Tech like Eil, Ecil, Ntpc.

these psu are core field of yours , so you should make your aggregate % to 65 atleast.
But if you make 70% , it will give you another edge which will amke u eligible for every psu.
this will yield a fruit in future for u.
i will suggest you to work hard in your core subjects adn amke your% atleast 65%,
    hope this will help u.
    thanx

Cool Re: I am studying B.Tech EEE with 68% aggregate. Is it sufficient to get a good job? If No, Should I improve further?

    Hello friend,

You have good aggregate in your B.Tech course and after your completion of the course your aggregate would definately go above 70% which is a pretty good aggregate to get a job in reputed Company. But you must know that aggregate is not a matter in your Job selection,it is just a criteria to be followed by the Recruiters. All the recruiting companies follows a criteria that only the students having more than 60% are eligible for the job. So,your aggregate is not a great matter, the thing which matters a lot is your Practical and Technical knowledge. All the Recruiters gives stress on these things because in company there is very less need to Theoratical knowledge, the knowledge required is only practical.

So,I recommend you that you must practice your Technical skills a lot,it will make you eligible for a highly paid job.

Top Recruiting Companies for EEE Graduates:
    • NTPC
    • BHEL
    • Bajaj International
    • ABB Group
