    Hello Friend............

    Indian Engineering Services Examination is the one of the public sector services which are available for the candidates of the respective branches of study in the Engineering and there are many services which are related to the government field and these services will offer you more prospects as these are the government services which are available...........
    In order to appear for these IES examinations you need to satisfy some of the Eligibility criteria or the qualifications which are needed to appear for the IES examination.If you get qualify in the written examination then you can be recruited in to the particular post after your interview............

    you must belong to the citizen of India
    *Educational Qualifications-
    you must have completed the Graduation in the engineering and technology branches like the

    Information Regarding IES Exam :

    IES stands for indian engineering service and this is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Once in a year and this year examination was already completed . Next IES Examination notification will be publish in the month of February in the official website of UPSC .

    Eligibility Criteria :-


    Education Qualification :-

    For required educational qualifications , candidate must completed the engineering degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification .

    Age limits :-

    For required age limits , candidate must have attained the age of 21 and must not have attained the age of years and upper age limit is applicable as per Government Rules .

    Upper age limits :-

    ~ 3 years for OBC candidates .
    ~ 5 years for Ex-Servicemen .
    ~ 10 years for PWD candidates .
    ~ 5 years for SC/ST candidate .

    Important Requirements :-

    ~~ The candidate must be physically and mentally fit while appearing for this examination .

    ~~ The candidate must be Citizenship of India .

    ~~ Both the Men and Women candidates are eligible to apply .

    Selection Procedure :

    Selection Process of this examination is divided into two parts , one is written and another one is person Interview as well as Medical Test .

    The written examination consist of two selection and first section containing the objective types questions and II section containing the conventional type questions papers and for both questions from branch selected by the candidate and the branches are :-

    For IES examination you should have degree in any one following stream:
    civil
    mechaniacl
    electrical
    electronics and telecommunication engineering.
    For preparation of subjects you should prepare you engineering subjects and
    general English
    and general knowledge.
    Upsc conducts IES examination every year to select employees in govt. Sector.

    You can apply for IES exam.
    IES (Indian Engineering Services) is a very nice service getting wide popularity now a days.
    ELIGIBILITY:-
    1)A student must have degree from following disciplines:-
    Mechnical
    Electronics and Communication
    Electrical
    Civil......
    2) He must be a citizen of India,Nepal,Bhutan


    Age limit:-
    Your age must be more than 21 years and less than 30 years.


    Date of Examination:-
    Commences from usually in the last weeks of June in the year of conduct of examination

    Being a EWCE student you are eligible for the IES exam as with this qualification and by writing this exam you can join in Indian Engineering Organizations.

    As candidates of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Tele Communication Engineering is eligible to apply for the IES exam

    To be eligible for the exam you need to pass the 2 stages of this exam such as:

    > Written Test
    > Personality test

    There are criteira's which are to be satisfied and they are:

    ~ Candidate should be a citizen of India

    ~ The age limit for the exam states that the candidate must have 21-30 years of age for General Category.For SC/ST candidates it is 21-35 years and for OBC candidates it is 21-33 years.There is a exception for Ex-service men as they get 5 years exception from the prescribed limits.

    I have already mentioned about the education qualification above for your notification.

    If you satisfy all these criteira's then you can apply for the IES exam which is conducted by UPSC.

    Firstly you should have a great zeal to become an IES officer.Any graduate can write the IAS exam
    Graduates from all fields have become IES officers_medical ,literature,biotechnologyetc

    WHAT TO CHOOSE FOR GRADUATION
    It should be your subject of interest.Mostly people choose BA literatureBut not necessary It depends on you.I already told graduates from many field have entered IES

    HOW WILL BE THE EXAM

    1)First there will be a screening exam full of multiple choice.

    2) If you get selected then you can attend the mains.

    3) Then you will be called for interview.

    4)The marks of the main and interview are considered for the FINAL rank list.

    5) Those who are included in the FIRST 100 get IAS.

    THE GENERAL TREND>>

    >One year preparation is necessary
    >But most make it the second or the third time
    >If you are in school then start your preparation today itself

    Hello friend!
    You should have 21-30 years as on 1.7.2012. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories).
    (ii) Educational Qualifications :

    You should have Bachelorís degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification .
    >>You donít need any minimum percentage to get eligible for IAS. Just graduation degree is enough to go for IAS.

    Indian administrative service exams are generally conducted by UPSC.In the month of may and June there will be preliminary exams and main exams held usually in the month of october.
    Civil service preliminary exam dates:>
    Notification will be published on :04/feb/2012.
    Last date of receipt is :05/march/2012.
    Date of exam is: 20/may/2012.
