    Hi Friend

Civil Services are the greatest exam in India. Which gives you the capability to change the "System" if you once get it !!!! And also one of the most craziest exams in India is Civil services !!! I say Civil services as a Snake & Ladder Game !!! Because, one should have to play it again and again until he/she gets the success !! I will tell you more simply about this, If you get caught with snake in the game then you must have to start it from the beginning. Same happens here in Civil services also!!!! If you once get the success in prelims(1st stage of exam in Civils) then it's Ok. But, if you don't get succeed in Mains(2nd stage) - then you must have to start from the beginning (i.e from Prelims) !!! That's why I compared this exams with Snake & Ladder !!!

Besides this, you really have wonderful command over the "system" if you get into the services once. For that you have to put lot of efforts!!! I think now you got a better idea on Civil services. Now, I directly come to your point!!
