    IAS and PCS both are well known and very reputed examination.Starting of preparation of these examination can be start from any time.But the Serious ans sincere study of this examination can be done after the first year program.IAS examination is conducted every year by the UPSC.This examination conducted in the following three stages.


    • PRELIMINARY.
    • MAINS.
    • INTERVIEW.


    After completing these three stages one can be The IAS officer.But qualifying this examination is not so easy.And also it is not Impossible to crack this exam.Having correct determination and proper time management as well as practice can give the SUCCESS to a man.So follow this and get the success.Before this you have to complete your graduation.Since you have not mentioned here about your qualification, So first complete your graduation in any stream for the IAS entrance examination,.You can take any stream for this.There is not restriction on choosing the stream.You can take the graduation Course according to your interest.

    How to start studying for IAS and PCS?

    Buy the Previous year question papers(Atleast 10years papers) with solutions(if possible)..

    Make high priority to high scoring subjects like Maths or your Core Subjects.

    Maintain a good Time management table..

    Make short notes from the Text books..
    Once you finish studying 1 chapter then go and solve the prev.year questions related to chapter 1..

    Finish detailed reading at least one and half month before.

    Keep one month for revisions and clearing leftover doubts.

    Keep last 15 days for fast practice and revision. Solve as many papers and question banks as you can get from any source.

    Finally the following Four Factors will surely help you to crack these exams
    - Consistency in Hardwork
    - Never give up
    - Learn,Test what you have learnt,Analyse and do Revision them
    - Be confident.

    Eligibility:

    1st Stage in IAS Exam Pattern(CSAT)::

    Preliminary or simply CSAT is the first tier within the 3 stage IAS exam.
    It's usually conducted around 2nd or third Sunday each May in which around 1.5 lac IAS aspirants appear for the Preliminary.

    The Prelims includes 2 papers of two hundred scores equally common to all applicants.
    Paper 1 consists the Questions on:
    - Indian politics
    - Current affairs
    - GK
    - Indian History
    - Geography
    - General Science and Economy

    And the 2nd paper comprises of questions about:
    - Mental ability
    - Comprehension skills
    - Logical reasoning
    - Passage
    - Statistics and decision making ability.

    The outcome of Prelims are announced during the 2nd week of August.
    And you will qualify for the 2nd level(Main Exams) of this IAS Exam - if have finished prelims successfully.

    The 2nd phase Mains contains the score of 2000 Marks.

    You are required to select 2 optional papers for the civil services Mains, while GS and Essay are standard to all people.

    Mandatory Papers in Mains:
    - English, and one Indian language paper

    3rd and Final Stage in IAS Exam::
    The third level is considered the Employment interview level conducted by a group of specialists in the UPSC hq located at Shahjahan Road, Delhi.

    Commonly 2.5 times the total vacancies during a particular year are called for this IAS personality assessment that commences around the last week of March and carries on right till the 1st week of May.

    General Trend of Final Scores for Selection

    Top 20ranks ----- 1300+
    Top 50ranks ----- 1280+
    Top 100ranks ----- 1250+
    Top 200ranks ----- 1225+

    Cut off Scores (Last Rank Marks) for Final Selection

    Category Marks

    General ---- 1200
    OBC ---- 1175
    SC ---- 1150
    ST ---- 1120

    IAS (INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES ) AND PCS ARE ONE OF THE MOST RENOWNED AND RESPECTED JOBS OF SOCIETY. AFTER QULIFYING IAS EXAM YOUR IDENTITY COMPLETELY CHANGES
    QUALIFYING IAS EXAM IS NOT SO EASY. IT NEEDS A LOT OF HARD WORK...........
