Since you have decided to become a professor in Maths you will need to take the science stream in 12th. You will need to study Physics, Chemistry too along with maths. Once you complete that you can go for B.Sc with Maths specialisation. Thereafter you can go for postgraduation in the same field. After completing that you will need to clear the NET exam. You can if you wish take a B.Ed too. Make sure you study well and get the concepts right from the beginning.

    Dear Friend,

To become a Mathematics Professor you have to go for higher studies. To become a professor one needs to qualify NET examination conducted by the UGC. To appear for the NET examination the minimum eligibility criteria is that the candidate must has a Master's degree with minimum 55% marks in aggregate. And to apply for Master's degree you have to pass graduation with minimum 55% marks.

As your aim is to be a mathematics professor, first step for this
you have to complete your 12 th with mathematics, you can go with engineering stream
    i.e with mathematics,physics,chemistry,
after completing 12 th you have to admit into B.sc (maths as major),after completing your B.sc you have to go for M.sc. If you can secure good marks in M.sc ,you will get service as a professor.
After completing 12 th you may also go for engineering also if you like.
    All the best.
