    in my view pilot job is more prestigious job in indian job posts.
    so congrats for opting pilot course after 12th standard. there are many courses to study for pilot after completing your 12th standard.after completion of 12th, join Air flying school to pursue Pilot training program.
    The eligibility condition required to pursue for pilot course is to pass in the intermediate course. You
    must have conceded the 12th course in Science streams with Physics, Chemistry as well
    as Mathematics. The minimum percentage requirement 12th standard is 50% in the qualifying examination.
    You should also take an entrance test to acquire admission in Pilot coaching institutes.
    and after passing the entrance test you should also pass the fitness exam.

    There is one renowned flying academy..It has many branches(clubs) in different city around India. Check the website or go to your nearest club..

    Dear friend,you can join the commercial pilot course after 12th if you fulfill the eligibility criteria for it and clear the written test conducted by the flying club.
    The eligibility criteria for the pilot course is as follows:

    i. You must complete your Class XII under the 10+2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in Mathematics and Physics.

    ii. You must be minimum 16 years of age to be eligible for a Private Pilot License and 17 for a Commercial Pilot License.

    iii. Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.

    iv. General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.

    These are the basic conditions to join the pilot courses.

    Comercial pilots fly all kinds of aircrafts -huge passenger jets, cargo planes or even charted aircrafts.

    Mental & physical skills you should have :
    Agility & physical fitness.
    Ability to take split second decisions, stay focused for long hours.
    Courage to face challenges.
    Good language & personality are added advantage.

    How to become pilot:
    After 12th you can undergo a pilot training course from a reputable DGCA-approved institute.
    It is mandatory to undergo 200 hours of flying to apply for commercial pilot lincense.
    You can join any reputable institute in US or Australia, but clearing DGCA exam is mandatory for CPL.
