    Hello Shivani

I recommend the following books for CLAT to my students:
G.K.- Static- Pearson Concise manual is still your best bet. Then comes Arihant and Universal.
Dynamic- Newspapers (especially Indian Express and The Hindu). Also subscribe to some newspapers online.

Logical Reasoning- Buy MK Pandey. Concept building wise, it's the best.

Legal Reasoning- There this one book by Universal on LR. It's pretty much exhaustive.

Maths- RS Aggrawal would do as maths part is basic and you need to mainly improve your speed

English- Wren n Martin and any good grammer book would build a good base.

Other stuff- Subscribe to some magazines like PD or CSR. Prefer PD though. Read newspaper editorials and look out for Supreme Court and High Court judgments on important issues.
    Hope this long post helps.

We've also given the link of a few good websites/blogs on http://www.legaledgetutorials.com/#/...ces/4553586603 and given some practice papers on http://bit.ly/pk6Ppa. Go through it and shoot a mail at legaledge.tutorials@gmail.com for the answer key.

    Cheers,

    friend,

CLAT is an exam conducted for the admission into the law colleges of india. So to start preparation You first buy the books related to CLAT exam 2011 and go through the syllabus and practice as amany questions as you can.You can also attend any coaching centre which is nearby your house so that will help you a lot in speedily solving questions and building some confidence level in you while
you give the exam and that will only when you will give mock test every week.

You should prepare yourself in the sections like maths, english,Gk,Legal aptitude, logic, try to learn by heart each and every topic of civics of 9th and 10th class.
