    How should I prepare myself for IAS exam after completing Graduation? What are the requirement for this?

    I want to do ias after my gradution hoe should i prepare my self and what are the reqriments for this plz tell me on my emailid

    for IAS exam you can take coaching from the good coaching institutes in your locality.


    Eligibility Criteria For IAS



    (i) Age limits :


    21-30 years as on 1.7.2011. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories as specified in Para 3(ii) of Notice).

    (ii) Educational Qualifications :


    Bachelorís degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification (Para 3(iii) of Notice).

    After completing degree you can eligible to write to IAS exam. you should collect current affiers and daily read news papers and collect important newses. and study NCERT book is published by central government.

    frist of all try to get good percentage in the graduation.
    and in the graduation try to get that subject by which u want to prepare for IAS exam.
    consult that person who also doing preparation for IAS and accordin to him try to know about every thing.

    Information About IAS Examination -


    Nice too See That You are Interested to become IAS Officer.

    So, i have to provide you the Necessary Information Regarding IAS Examination. UPSC Conducts the IAS Examination Every Year 2 Times, Firstly You Have to apply for Preliminary examination and after crack the Preliminary examination you are eligible for Next Examination Called Main Examination. The Notification was Published in the employment Newspaper Or In the UPSC Website In February Month Every year.

    So, Any Graduate Candidates are eligible to apply for UPSC Civil Services Examination To become IAS Officer, Final Year Candidates are also Apply for this exams.

    But your age should between 21 to 30 years, If you are Interested to apply for IAS Examination. Upper age Relaxation is applicable for SC, ST and OBC Candidates.

    INDIAN CIVIL SERVICES : SCHEME OF EXAMINATION

    The Civil Services Examination is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year.
    The examination has three stages i.e.,
    (1) Civil Services Preliminary Examinations (CSP) - normally conducted during the second half of May.
    (2) Civil Services (Main) Examinations conducted during the month of October/November. Here, those who are selected in the preliminary examination only are eligible to appear.
    (3) Those who are selected in the main examination will be eligible to appear before the Interview Board at New Delhi.

    To crack the the IAS exam you should be thorough with the current events and the facts related with India. First of all you have to prepare for preliminary Exam for which you can opt an optional Subject. Select your graduation subject itself if it is possible. Study the subject thoroughly.
    General studies books of various publications are available in market .Go through them. Solve as much as previous question papers. So that you can easily crack the Preliminary Exam. For the main Examination you should prepare for Essay writing and for a second optional subject along with the first optional in the preliminary. For the interview special preparation is not required. The questions asked will be more or less general and simple .Be humble and honest. Definitely you can crack the IAS Exam

    if u have completed ur graduation than make ur optional paper strong and go for it continuously....u should go through current affairs,,news paper....i will also suggest u join a coaching

    UPSC conducts the IAS examination for recruiting aspirants in various departments of Indian Administrative Service. Graduation is the basic qualification for attending this examination. Three stages are involved in the selection process: CSAT, a main exam and an interview. CSAT is Civil Service Aptitude Test. Multi choice questions are involved in this. IAS is considered as one of the top most positions in the Administrative Service. Because of this fact, a tough competition is involved in this examination. You have to prepare well for this examination. General awareness and good communication skill is required to enter in IAS department.

    IAS exam is conducted by UPSC known as Civil Services exam.It is conducted in three stages i.e Preliminary,Main and Interview.You need to pass all the three stages in order to become an IAS officer.
    The eligibility for IAS is as follows:
    -Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
    -Age limit : 21-30yrs.

    To preparing for IAS after graduation you need you follow the IAS guide available in the market. And be the expert in General knowledge, History, geography, economics etc. for IAS Entrance Examination.

    Hello,

    Yes ,you can prepare yourself pr IAS entrance Exams , if you think that you are capable for this.

    UPSC conducts Civil Services Exams every year for IAS; IES IFS posts.

    Mostly Candidates do Coaching for Preparation of IAS (Indian Administrative Services).

    Because its not the easy entrance exam ,it is one year long and tough exam.

    So candidates do coaching to crack the exam one time.

    Elligibity For IAS entrance exam:

    *Candidates must have grduation degree in any discipline from recognized university.

    *Candidates age must be
    Minimum: 21 years
    Maximum . 30 years
    Age relaxation is given to OBC is 3 years and
    SC/ ST is 5 years.

    *Candidates must have citizenship of India.

    *Candidates of final year graduation can also apply for IAS:

    *Candidates must be physically fit.

    Selection Procedure:

    Preliminary exam

    Mains exam

    Personal Interview.

    So, suggestion for you is to purchase IAS preparation books from market , and study that, you can also see the pattern of question paper . Prepare previous years question papers.
