    IES i.e Indian Engineering Service Examination is conducted by upsc.The Age should between 21 To 30 yrs.And The candidate must be a graduate in Engineering from a recognized university.final year students can also appear In IES Exam.Reservation will be made for candidates belonging to Scheduled class,Scheduled Tribes,Other Backward Class and Physically Disabled category.You can apply for IES
    Examination in Online or Offline.

    The Application forms are available in various designated post offices throughout the country.
    but,this year last date of submission was already over......

    Information About IES (Engineering Service Examination) -

    IES Stands for Engineering Service Examination and to apply for this examination you need to complete your Engineering course in any discipline from a recognised University. There is no minimum percentage eligibility criteria to apply for IES Examination.

    The examination conducted by UPSC Every year and the Notification was Published in the month of January every year and the examination was held in May.

    But the Recruitment on the results of this examination will be made to the Services/ Posts under the following categories - Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.

    >>> Any Candidates possessing a degree in Engineering in any discipline is eligible for taking Engineering Service Examination.

    >> But your age should between 21 to 30 years.

    >> Final year Engineering Candidates are also apply for IES Examination.

    Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii,

    Procedure to apply IES Entrance Exam:

    * You can apply for this exam both offline as well as online.
    * The UPSC application form for IES exam consists of the application form along with an Information Brochure containing general instructions for filling up the form, an acknowledgement card and an envelope for sending the application.
    * And a separate blog post would be made as and when the online form becomes available.

    IES Exam is conducted by UPSC for the admission of candidates in INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICES and
    it is conducted every year.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

    NATIONALITY : A candidate must be:

    ->A citizen of India,
    ->A subject of Nepal,
    ->A subject of Bhutan,
    ->A Tibetan refugee who came over to Indian before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
    ->A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

    AGE LIMIT:A candidate must be between the age of 21 years 30 years on the 1st August, 2011 i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1981 and not later than 1st August, 1990.
    There is relaxation for reserved categories as per govt rules.
    5 years if a candidate belongs to Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe
    3 years if a candidate belongs to Other backward classes.

    EDUCATIONAL CRITERIA:
    -> A candidate must have a graduation degree in engineering field from any recognized university in branches
    1. Electrical Engineering
    2. Electronics & Communications Engineering
    3. Civil Engineering
    4. Mechanical Engineering

    ->M.Sc. degree or equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject is also acceptable for certain posts.

    PROCEDURE TO APPLY :
    UPSC applications are available for Rs. 20/- at notified post offices all over the country. There is a fee relaxation for SC/ST/Female/PH candidates.

    Please see and fill exam code as ENGG and not as IES. IES means Indian Economic service.

    Last date for application : first week of March.

    Date of examination : last weeks of June.

    Offline : The Application forms are available in various designated post offices across the country and the application forms available in sub post offices and head post offices.

    To apply for this examination,the candidate must have a graduate degree in engineering from any recognized university and those in final year of degree can also apply for this examination.

    Some branch candidates are eligible to apply for this examination and the branches are Civil,Mechanical,Electrical and Electronics and Communication Engineering.

    For I.E.S,the applicant age should between 21 yrs to 30 yrs and upper age limit will be relaxed by three for OBC candidates and five years for SC/ST candidates.

    The entrance examination notification was published in the month of January or February in official website or employment news papers.

    HI

    IES stands for Indian Engineering service,it is conducted by UPSC.In IES exam the candidate with Engineering degree in Civil ,Mechanical, Electronic and Electrical are recruited.To appear in this exam the candidate must fulfill the mentioned eligibility criteria :-

    - the candidate must be graduate in Engineering from a recognized university ,final year candidates can also apply

    - between the age of 21 - 30 years,upper age relaxation for ST/SC , OBC candidates

    To appear in IES exam the candidate must have Engineering Degree in the field of Civil , Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical From a recognized university.

    1.hii you can directly go to the www.upsc.gov.in and choose for the IES exam and apply.
    2.you need to have minimum 60% marks to apply for this.
    3.Its an all india level so better you need to have atleast 6 months to clear.
    4.you need to get good books and if possible tuitions to crack the exam.

    IES stands for Indian Engineering Service is a civil service exam and
    it is conducted by UPSC every year.Basically this exam
    recruit Engineers.
    Eligibility criteria for IES are as follows:-
    1]A candidate should have graduation in Engineering .
    2]A candidate should have atleast 60%in B.Tech.
    3]Age limit 21-30 years for open category.
    4]Age limit for OBC 21-33 years.
    5]Age limit for SC/ST 21-35 years.
    6]A candidate should be citizen of India.

    IES exam is conducted by upsc every year in one time.
    Only engineering students of following stream are eligible for examination.
    Civil
    mechanical
    electrical
    electronics and telecommunication.
    No other than this branch of engineering students are eligible for it.
    This examination is conducted to recruitment of engineer in different fields.
    A successful candidates are eligible to given post in central govt. Jobs.
    The exam consist of two rounds.
    1) preliminary
    2) mains
    the successful candidates of preliminary exam candidate are qualified to appear for second round.
    And than finally selected for interview.
    And after this you will given post in govt sector jobs.
