You can appear for both the entrance exam after your +2.First of all decide whether you want to build up a career in law by clearing CLAT(Common law admission test ) or appear for IIT-Joint entrance exam for undergraduate courses. It will be very difficult for you to concentrate on your school syllabus, CLAT and IIT JEE.CLAT and JEE require hardwork as both are very tough.CLAT will enable you to get admission in a reputed Law College where you can do LLB for 5 years.
IIT is the most esteemed institution in India where you can get admission through Joint entrance exam. Mixing both will lead you no where. Have a clear vision and prepare for the exam in which you are most interested.

Choosing the correct career path could be a difficult task. You need to decide which are you most comfortable. Also what kind of job you will like doing down the line. Do not try a lot of options as you could end up getting nothing. Since you are currently in 11th standard you need to decide what area you are good in and then choose the options you have.
By appearing for Common Law Admission Test you will be looking for a career in Law. This exam is conducted by the various national law colleges in the career. If you clear this test you will get admission in one of top national law colleges in the country. The eligibility criteria for admission to any of these colleges include a minimum of 50% during your 12th exam. There is an age limit of 20 years for admission.
By appearing for IIT Jee you would be choosing engineering as your career path. There are various streams in engineering like electronics and communication, information technology, civil, mechanical etc. By securing a good score in IIT Jee you could attain admission in Indian Institute of Technology. There are also some other good universities which use this score as a basis for selection.
Law and engineering are two totally different areas. Preparing for this along with 11th exam could be a tough task. You need to decide which career is best for you. It would be advisable to prepare for only one of these exams along with 11th standard studies.

Since you are already studying for IIT-JEE, continue to put your efforts in it.Common Law Aptitude Test (CLAT) covers basic subjects like English, General Knowledge/Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics, Legal GK,Logical Reasoning. Since, preparing for IIT-JEE, you would already be familiar with elementary mathematics and logical reasoning, you should aim for legal GK and comprehensive English more. Reading daily newspapers and year books will improve your knowledge regarding GK. SO, along with preparing for IIT-JEE, you can put more efforts and prepare for CLAT.
    all the best!!

    Hello friend,
Both the courses are different from each other becauce if u wanna join IIT's means u can study IIT-JEE. If u look with law means CLAT is needed. Both of the preparation is little bit tough. so take some good decision whats ur heart says....
