    How to prepare for GS part of IAS exam? I am an ECE graduate. Suggest a good way for preparation. Which books should follow for this?

    Civil Services Examinations are one of the most prestigious services in the India and these civil services are conducted by the UPSC in India and the candidates who had completed the graduation in any of the stream of study can appear for this Civil Services examination.

    This Civil Services Examination is of the All India Examination and the Indian Administrative Services examination is conducted for all over the India and this IAS examination is conducted following some of the qualifications which are necessary for appearing to the examination and the selection procedure for appearing to the IAS examination are....
    *Preliminary Examination-
    this is the Civil Services Aptitude Test which is conducted for the selection of the candidates for the next main's examination and this CSAT examination consists of the two papers mainly and the short listed candidates in this Preliminary examination are sent for the next round of the Main examination
    *Main Examination-
    This is also one of the civil services selection procedures and this examination is of the descriptive type examination and the candidates who had selected in the preliminary examination are only called for the main examination.
    *Interview
    This is the last round for the selection procedure and this is the finale interview process and this is the personnel interview selections

    The CSAT examination contains of the General Studies which is also included in the CSAT examination and the General Studies include the syllabus of
    >>You should have the habit of reading the news paper daily and know the things which are happening around you.
    >>You should have knowledge on the topics of the Environment,Climate Change,Biodiversity,Ecology is needed
    >>You should have mostly concern the topic like the Statistics, Indian Economy
    In Indian Economy you should concentrate on the topics like
    *Planning
    Growth
    Mobilisation of resources
    *Foreign Trade
    *World bank
    *Economic issues relating to Oil
    *role of IMF
    Main topics which are related to general studies are
    #Indian History
    #Geography
    #Indian Economy
    #National Issues
    #Indian Policy
    #Science and technology
    These are the different topics which you need to concentrate for clearing the General Studies subject
