Re: How to prepare the English Subject for IBPS Examination?

The IBPS organises Common written examination for recruiting Management trainees/
Probationary officers for Public sector banks . The examination pattern for this
exam consists of five sections along with a Descriptive paper on English.
Out of these five sections one section is English Language. This section will test
your Basic english knowledge, your grammer skills. It will consist of Fill in the blanks
where you have to fill a missed verb , adjective etc or Jumbled sentences where you
will have to make a correct sentence out of those. So you need to work on your grammer
and improve it. You should start reading some english newspaper like Times of India,
Hindustan Times etc. Also try to speak in english as much as you can. Try to converse
with you friends in English. Beleive me this is the only way that you will have your
english improved. Also try to attempt some mock tests or sample papers. The more you
practise the better you will get as practise is the only key to success.
Also you should build up your vocabulary. You cab read Word power made easy ny Norman
Lewis. A good vocublary is very important as it will help you in the Descriptive paper
on English composition .Here you will be required to write Letter, Precise etc.
