How to prepare for customs officer exam? Can I appear in it while studying 3rd year B.Com and at the age of 23?

Hi,
I am currently residing in Chennai and completing my 3rd year B.Com. Marketing and Management from distance as I had started working after completing 12th. I want to be a custom officer please guide me for the same.
1. How to do preperation for the exams ?
2. As I am in 3rd year can I appear for the exams this year itself ?
3. I am 23 year old, my age limit is fine ?
As there is no one to guide me for the same I will really appretiate your help.
