Initialize exam preparation for both bank PO and IT exams while doing 2nd year B.Com. This will help you to prepare a good plan for attending this exam. Both these exams will be aptitude based tests. If interested, enroll for training classes for these exams. Also, try to get model papers and solve these model papers. Always note down important points like formulas etc after studying each section which can be used during revision time. Mock tests can also be attended. Some of the books written by GK Publications, Jain Publications, Arihant publications etc can also be referred.

Re: How to prepare for Bank PO and Income Tax exams while pursuing 2nd year B.Com?

    Hello friend
Its quite common that B.COM graduates generally show interest towards government jobs like income tax officer and waved towards bank jobs. For this a thorough preparation must be needed. Following are the steps to be followed to crack these exams.

    STEP – I :
As you said you are from 2nd year so, you are having 1 more year to make your preparation well.
So, this states that you have totally 2 years for satisfactory preparation.
First thing you will have to do is collect all the previous editions, question papers, question patterns of these examinations.
I have mentioned exam previous patterns also because many people just have a look at the pattern and understand the exam way, but many of them don’t know that these model papers include major share of the questions.
    STEP – II :
After collecting all the previous stuff then you will have to go for editorials and collection of books and articles given in papers.
At the time of the examination arrivals do have a look at the news paper articles they will provide you with more information and knowledge.
Books play a major role at the times of preparation here is a small list of books which are suggestable to you :
    • STUDENT’S GUIDE TO INCOME TAX BY DR.VINOD.K.SINGHANIA , DR.MONICA.K.SINGHANIA
    • Quantitative Aptitude - R.S Aggrawal
    • For English Word Meaning - Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis
    • Reasoning- R.S Aggrawal (Verbal and Non-Verbal)
    • Ever Ltest General Knowledge by Verma and khanna
    • Upkars Publications Bank Probationay Oficer by Khanna
    • Upkar`s SBI PO Examination (Solved Papers)
    HOPE THIS HELPED YOU………………………
