You should start preparing before 3 months before the exam date. so start preparing for any exam by today only. the main thing to clear the exam that one should score the cut off marks that is of 40 to 50%in each section.rhan you can be called for an interview. students generally made good score in english ,quant, reasoning but due to general awareness the lost it. so make yourself well prepared for general awareness.

    Dear friend,

The banks has a major scope in future. Because you can opt a Bank Manager post by step by step. And Manager has a monthly salary minimum Rs.50000/-

As you have 48% in class 12th you are not eligible in the banks exam either clerical or PO.

Clerical Exam eligibility: Candidates must have class 12th with 55% for GEN/OBC or 50% for SC/ST candidates.
    OR
Any pass graduation candidates (No minimum percentage required)
Now the banks not take the own written tests. They follow the IBPS result score card. If you want to do jobs in the banks then you have to give the written test of the IBPS.

For PO exam eligibility: 60% in Graduation for GEN/OBC or 55% for SC/ST candidates.

There is one problem in the IBPS is that they kept very minimum percentage in educational qualification while taking written tests. But when the candidates apply on the basis of that result score card to the banks they not eligible for that banks educational qualification percentage. So, if you have above percentage then you can apply in any bank.

For the further details go the website of www.ibps.in

If you further don't have qualification eligibility criteria then there ares also other methods to join the banks which are given below:
You do the Diploma in Banking or Indian Institute of Banking and Finance ( For Certification of Banking Methods). By doing any of this course you will be eligible in both PO and clerical exam.

    best of luck

As you have completed your +2 is good. But your marks are very less for appearing in the banks clerk exam. There is requirement of at least 50% marks in your +2 for the clerk post examination. However it can be possible for you if you are belonging from the reserved category. For the reserved category it is 45%.If you are wanted to go for the Banks sector then it is the good option for you. There is good scope in the bank sector. If you are getting your job in govt bank then it is more good.If you are getting job in private bank then there is no need to take tension because in private sector the paying scale is quite large as comparison to the govt Bank.
As i told you if you are not from reserved category then your aggregate is less you are not allowed to give the exam. You can complete your graduation with more then 55% marks then you can give the bank"s exam..
