first of all we should know that AIEEE is not a tough examination. we should make sure to read our NCERT book.cuz most of the chemistry part comes direct from that.
now your question:
see in aieee if you have marks between 200-250. then you can easily get an nit mentioned by you.
so prepare well and ask if any other query troubles you.

I CAN SUGGEST YOU THE GENERAL SCORE AND THAT IS 110 OUT OF 200. TO GET IN GUD ENGINEERING COLLEGES.

hi , according to my analysis you should get a rank in between 1 to 15000 to get admission into the above institutes

and according my analysis to 2010 statistics and 2011 circumstances you need to get 170- 220 marks

atleast u have to get a rank under 20000 to get good colleges if u r in general catageory....

To get a National Institute of Technology you need to get a minimum of 5000 rank ,Then only you can get a good NIT. !!!

To get good college you must get 195 above marks.

well dear keep in mind that the score in the exam is not fixed for the college to get the students in it.it varies as per the number of students participating per year and the number of seats increased in that college ...if so the intake of the students can increase else not.....thank you....

You need to score at least 200-250 to get admitted in the best colleges.

i am a hp student of general category getting 138 marks in aieee 2011. can i get mechanical branch in nit hamirpur?

Following is the Criteria for AIEEE
For general category-above 170 marks

SC/ST candidates-Above 100

OBC candidates-above 85

It depends on your choice of branch & place.

If you are aimimg for branches like computer science OR electrical, then you should have rank within 10,000.
If you can get rank within 20,000 even then you can get seat but not desired branch.

If a particular NIT belongs to your state then you will get 50% reservation in that NIT.

you should score minimum 250 marks to get a good NIT like warangal,trichy , delhi ..and allahabad .

These all are NIT colleges except Jaypee.
You know that NIT is very good and highly reputed colleges in India.
So for these NIT's you have to score at least 200 Marks in AIEEE in order to get admission in one of these colleges If you belonging to General Category.
else if you are belonging to ST/SC category then i think 150 is sufficient.

More than marks your all india rank is important.

You should secure a rank less than 12000 to get a seat in NITs.
That means you should have scored above 200 out of 360

This marks may change every year.

This year AIEEE exam is of 360 marks and last year it is of 432 marks,
So it is difficult to say next year how many marks of it.
But if take average then and if you belonging to General category then you have to score at least 150 or 175 marks in order to get any one of the reputed NIT.
And if you belonging to SC/ST category then you have ton score at least 100 marks to get NIT .
And for OBC students it is nearly same as for general candidates.

for the above mentioned colleges you should secure atleast 250 marks in aieee and if you have reservation then you have an edge
