    How much percentage should I get in 12th to be eligible for Biotechnology course?

    after finishing my 12th board exams what percentage of marks should i get to join bio technology

    *) try for anna university colleges where you can easily join in biotechnology courses.

    *) the cut-off mark for biotechnology course in anna university and MIT is 196-198.5

    *) the A grade affiliated colleges under anna university have cut-off range from 1902-196

    *) the B grade colleges will have 185-190

    *) c grade colleges will have 175-183.

    *) other colleges will have below 170.

    **) the above cut-off are in 2012 academic year and for general category students.

    Hello friend,
    You must have eligibility for Bio-Technology are given here:-

    1)You must pass a Diploma or 10+2 from a recognized board with 50% marks.
    2)You must have Maths,Physics,Chemistry in 12th exam.

    You have to give JEE to take admissions in Engineering Colleges.After passing JEE You can take admission in Engineering College in Bio-Technology Stream.

    From the name one can guess the coagulation of subjects from which Biotechnology is formed, Biology and Technology.

    This course has a greater scope due its under development stage in India, creating a vvariety of job prospects for its students.
    Not only Medical fields, pursuers can also join
    Pharmaceutical Industries
    I.T Companies
    Biotechnology Sector
    Microbiology Sector
    Horticulture Sector
    Core Companies
    Research Sector

    Eligibility Required:

    * You must pass the intermediate course from a recognized College
    * You can apply for the exam during Final year of the intermediate course
    * Students seeking Biotechnology are needed to score at least a percentage of 60%
    * Course you pursued in the Intermediate course should be Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
    * Aggregate marks required in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is 55%.

    The above eligibility may differ from University to university according to their need.
    So you should be better prepared properly before applying for the exam.

    This course is of four years divided into 8 semesters system.
    Each semester is one session of 6 months and warding marks called SGPA.
    And your marks obtained from every semester will be taken average called CGPA.
    Your further course pursuing and job career will mostly depend upon this CGPA marks.

    Hello friend
    you want to join b.tech(bio-technology) after 12th , the minimum percentage required is 60% marks
    I suggest you to go for good and reputed , top colleges fotr joining the course because in India there are very few seats available and if you get into any college where there is no good faculty and labs, then you'll face problems
    choose the right college
