Re: How much percentage is required to be eligible for MAT Entrance?

MAT(Management Aptitude Test) is an entrance exam conducted by AIMA(All India Management Association). This exam is conducted all over India for the selection of candidates
who are eligible to get admission in institutes that give admission on the basis of marks obtained or in other words percentile obtained n the exam. There are many such reputed MBA institutions in India
which give admission on the basis of MAT score card.
This score card is valid for one year or in other words a student can get admission in any MBA institution on the basis of that score card only upto one year.

There is no such percentage requirement which is required to be fulfilled by a candidate to appear n this examination. The only requirement is that you must have completed your graduation
from any discipline or even if you have not completed your graduation or you are in the third year of graduation, you can appear for the same.

The exam is conducted four time in a year- February, May, September and December . You can choose either online mode or offline mode to appear for the exam.
There are a number of subjects which are required to be studied to score high n this examination. The various subjects can be listed as follows-
English- Grammar part, Antonyms and Synonyms, etc.

Data interpretation- In this part you have to study as well as analyze a number of charts and graphs and then you have to answer questions based on that. It requires a candidate to
observe important facts which can be interpreted using organised data. So,it requires a lot of practice as well as good analytical skills to score in this part.

Quantitative Aptitude- It requires basic mathematical skills and a good approach towards applying those concepts. This portion is scoring as well as tricky some times as the examiner may not ask the
questions directly and may opt for an indirect approach.

Logical skills-it includes verbal as well as non verbal reasoning. Topics include validity, fallacies, paradoxes(the matrix data arrangement), and arguments involving causality, etc.
You must start preparing as soon as possible as it requires lot of practice as well as analysis.
