    Educational Qualification:

    1. For the posts of Clerks and Typists :

    *Bachelor's degree of a recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent recognized as such by the Central Government.

    *Passed with 60% marks in aggregate in class 12

    OR

    *Passed with 50% marks in aggregate in Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/State Government or U.T. Administration.


    2. For the posts of Stenographers, Data Entry Operators, Telephone Operators :

    *A pass in class 12 by a recognised board

    3. For the posts of Agricultural Clerks :

    *A degree or Diploma in Agriculture (including Agricultural Engineering) from a recognized University/Institution.

    OR

    *Passed class 12 with 50% and agriculture as a subject


    AGE LIMIT:

    18 to 28 years

    Bank Clerk Eligiblity Criteria -

    If you are Interested to apply for Bank Clerk Post, Then for this you have to complete your 12Th examination with minimum 60% marks, But I have to inform you that, many banks wants Graduation is the minimum qualification and if you have scored minimum 50% to 55% marks in graduation then you are eligible for Bank Clerk examination and you must have Working knowledge of computers.

    For PNB you need to passed in your Graduation examination with minimum 50% Marks and your age should between 20 to 25 years.

    But for SBI you need to passed in your 12Th examination in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 60% Marks and your age should between 18 to 28 years, The upper age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST and OBC Candidates.

    And for OBC (Oriental Bank of Commerce) Bank You need to passed in your Degree examination in any discipline or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks from a recognised university and your age should between 18 to 28 years.

    So, You have see that the eligibility criteria are vary from Bank to bank, For some banks You have apply after 12Th and for many other banks you need to be a graduate degree.     The eligibility for Bank Clerk exam is passed in 10+2 exam with at least 60% marks.
    If you have completed your graduation,then you can appear for Bank PO exam.
    The eligibility for Bank PO exam is graduation with at least 60% marks.
    The age limit for PO exam is 21-30yrs.

    Graduation in any discipline (second class with 55% aggregate marks/equivalent CGPA).
    All educational qualifications, graduation/post graduation etc shall be from a University recognized by govt of India. Technical qualification (B.E./B.Tech, MBA etc) shall be from an institution accredited by AICTE/ UGC recognition required wherever applicable.

    Bank Clerk Educational Qualifications: Pass with 55% aggregate marks (60% for Gen/OBC) in HSE/10+2 or its equivalent from Recognized Board.

    (or) Degree in any discipline or its equivalent from a Recognized University.

    Knowledge of Computers is essential for all Category candidates

    1. Proficiency in Windows/MS Office 2. Certificate or Diploma in Computer Operations from NIIT,SSI,APTECH,MICE,STQC,CMC etc. or O/A/B/C level certificate of DOEACC or BCA or Computer Science as one of the subjects covering MS Word, Excel,Acess etc. in Degree level.

    Candidates should be knowing to read,write and speak the language of state/UT for which vacancies are advertised and for which he/she desires to apply.

    you have to pass in degree for clerical post.
    Minimum requirement of study is 12th,
    but if you done degree,
    so you have to just pass on that and then you can apply for clerical post...

    The minimum qualification for clerical bank exam is 10+2 or any degree.
    The percentage should be at least 60% in Graduation

    Actually the minimum basic qualification for a bank clerical exam is minimum 60 percentage in Intermediate for general and other backward classes persons , , the age limit is between 18 years to 28 years ,55 percentage is needed for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe and physically handicapped persons

    Many banks required candidates with more than 60%marks in their graduation. After that you write bank exam for the particular bank.

    Eligibility for bank exams.

    -You have to pass your 10+2/its equvilent examination any recognized university.

    (1) Age
    Minimum age should be completed 18 years and maximum age should not be completed 28 years.
    (2) Educational Qualification
    (a) Graduation in any discipline from any recognized university (or)10+2 examination or equivalent with first class with 60% marks. In case of SC/ST/PH candidates 55% marks.

    IBPS Stands Institute of Banking Personal Selection and this examination is conducted by Common Written Examination for Recruitment in Clerical Carde in Public Sectors Banks.

    Your 10th marks must be above 60% then you are eligible for IBPS CLERK exam.

    OR

    Those candidate have completed 12th with above 50% are eligible for IBPS CLERICAL exam.

    For applying for BANK-CLERK exam your Degree percentage is not Required , your 12th percentage should be above 60%.

    To apply for BANK-CLERK:-

    You need have completed your 12th.

    You need to have minimum of 60% in your 12th.

    If you belong to Reservation category then you need to have 55%.

    Your age need to be between 19-28 years.

    Age relaxation of 5 years is for SC/ST and for OBC it is 3 years.

    You need to be citizen of INDIA.

    So your a Graduate student you can apply for BANK-PO exam as it is the Required qualification for BANK-PO, but if you want to apply only for BANK-CLERK then see that you have satisfied the eligibility as mentioned above.

    Eligibility is :

    You must have a degree with 55% or above (50% for SC/ST)
    You must have computer knowledge
    It's better if you have computer certificates in MS office or internet usage etc.

    CWE(Common Written Exam)will be of Objective type and Objective questions consists a total of 250 marks and should be written in 150 Mins.
    The various components of written exam are as follows:

    - General Awareness related to Banking Industry carries 50questions 50marks

    Hi,

    You have to complete your 12Th examination with minimum 60% marks.

    But,many banks wants Graduation is minimum 50% to 55% marks.

    The age limit should be 18-28 years.

    The upper age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST and OBC Candidates.

    For more information please check the different bank official websites.

    If you have completed your graduation,then you can appear for Bank PO exam.

    The eligibility for Bank PO exam is graduation with at least 60% marks.

    The age limit for PO exam is 21-30yrs.

    Do not worry about the aggregate marks because some less no.of banks are asking the aggregate marks . If you are score less marks then don't worry you can definitely enter the entrance examination Clerks examination . Coming to the Clerks examination , it is one of the demand position every large of no.of candidates recruiting into the Bank .

    To join in Clerks Job in Banks then you need crack the entrance examination like SBI Clerks , SBI Clerks Associate , IBPS Clerks Examination .

    Information about the SBI Clerks examination :-


    State Bank of India is conducted once or twice in a year for recruitment of clerical position . This year SBI Clerks exam announcement was already published in the month of March and the examination was completed on 03/06/12 . SBI Clerks Associate Announcement also released in the month of July and Last date for receipt of application was also already completed . The examination will be held in the month of October ( 07/10/12 and 14/10/12 ) .

    Eligibility Criteria for Clerks / Association :-

    The Aspirant should have a completed Intermediate / 10+2 School education / + 2 examination from a recognized School and must secure at least 60% aggregate marks for general categories . 55% aggregate marks for reserved categories .     Banking sector is the one of the most preferable career prospect for the candidates who had completed the required qualifications which are required for the examination or the particular post of study which you wish to appear for the particular post...There are many banks which are of either the private sector banks and also the public sector banks which are present for the recruitment criteria of the Banking sector and the public sector banks conduct the recruitment criteria through the IBPS selection process which is to be followed for appearing to the Banking sector and the private sector banking sector conducts the examinations independently by each of the banks individually and you need to appear for the recruitment of these private sector banks individually................

    Institute Of Banking Personnal Selection (IBPS) Conducts the common entrance test for the recruitment of PO's and Clerical for each of 19 participating Indian banks in association with Indian Bank Association. It is conducted twice a year.Via this examination you can give the Clerk examination.
    • You must be citizen of India for applying in this examination.

    • For applying in this examination you must have the 10 th degree with 60% aggregate marks.

    • Also you have to complete your +2 degree with 55% marks in your aggregate.

    • Your age must be lie in between 18 year to 28 year to apply in this examination.

    • You can get the relaxation by 3 year if you are from OBC category.

    • You can get the relaxation by 5 year if you are from SC/ST category.
